@anthoney987654321 this is actually the bear minimum of what you can do with this program, he used a lot of packages that had presets for effects and animations, but you can do this with after effects and good online tutorials.

Yeah, you can't make that in regular AE. You have to pay for third party content, seems he has only used Red Giant software. It is used in all of the particle effects. The growing flowers comes from Video Copilots products. The Red giant software is called Particular and is mad expensive :(

not pro, amateur, i mean, follow AK's beginners tuts one AE (rougly 2 hours i think) then watch another 2-4 hours of his tutorials and u can do pretty much anything u want as far as motion graphics go, u just then have to have the creativeness to do it.

The thing is, no graphics artists really understand the logarithms behind half the technology they are using. This guy has made something that looks nice simply by "pressing a few buttons", but he did a good job of it -Well done!

What may be aggravating some people is the fact that it IS a very simple piece of work, and yet has over 100K views.

There are some people out there who have done much more original, creative and challenging work and can only dream of such a view count.

@IllEagle2007 I suspect the view count is from people searching for the song rather then the animation. Its ok looking but it could have been better with some more in depth knowledge and experience. I spent ten years doing this stuff for motion picture main titles and most of the creativity with after effects comes from animated mattes and fills. This stuff is the icing on the cake.

Well a lot of Graphic Design is not necessarily motion graphics. I would buy and master Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects, and Flash.

It is easy to become a graphic designer, the key is to use your creativity to create unique, one of a kind masterpieces using these different software as your tools!

actually I would say if you want to be a legitimate graphic designer you should go to school for it. Too many ppl are teaching themselves basic photoshop and calling themselves"graphic designers".Too many wannabees polluting the field as if there were nothing more to design than just learning the programs. Take a real Graphic Design program from teachers who aren't afraid to tell you you suck. its the only way to be great at it.
