he is too young/wiggly/short for a booster seat!
A 5pt harness would be safter - there are 5pt carseats that have cool cupholders too!

Not to be rude he looks about a 1/2 foot short of being tall enough for that booster. Keep him in a 5pt. harnessed seat it's safer.
