@pbusardo oh I know. The original buzz was the first mod I ever owned back when it came out. Its awesome but battery life is kinda meh. I love my reo but would rather have the pro. It would be nice to know what voltage I am at without having to carry around a voltage meter. I also like that I won't have to carry a small screwdriver around with me anymore to change voltage lol. The og buzz will be my back up from now on.
@bobthesalesclerk I think you will like it. Although it doesn't have all the bells and whistles as come of the other mods out there, it pushed power and does it well. Take a look at my VZ ZZ (Lava) tube review and go to the graph section.
Hi again! Just wondering...if tomorrow they ban the use of 2 or more e cigs per person :), so you had to choose just one e cig, which would it be? This Buzz Pro? Tx!
@rockingranny45 I think it depends on what you want. The Buzz can be an 808 device without an adapter. For me, that's really important. It's just about the only mod that will do that for me. The fact that it has all kinds of caps for different connections is something you can't get with the Provari unless you want to use ugly adapters. The Provari is also a bit more expensive. I honestly think both are overpriced and kind of ugly in their own unique ways, but the Buzz is more functional for me.
@BlackSwarm1 In their lower settings you can absolutely use LR cartos. As a matter of face, it's all I use, but certainly don't need to. You could also fry an LR is you push the voltage up too high so be careful. I like that it has PLENTY of power on an LR, gives me a great vape, I can push it as far as the carto can go without it tasking burnt. Plus, since I do use a bunch of different devices, I can take those LR cartos, throw them on a KGO and still be plenty satisfied.
Thanks again Phil (see, not Pete, Phil, lol) Loved this review along with the others. Until I find some work, this is a bit pricey for me, but your video has convinced me this is the way to go!
You're very, very good at this-a natural in front of the camera-I can see why they always ask you to do the reviews. As soon as I can, afford, convinced this is the way to go. TY again...Phil ;)

You are genuinely funny, can't believe I didn't find your vid reviews sooner. Thanks, and I just watched your I Pro review (among others) and bought one.
@MatrixTechSolutions Let me say this about the button, although I'm not crazy about the look, it has become my favorite button functionally. I love the way it fires, I love the little mechanical click, I love the feel to it. It has been absolutely perfect.. As far as a recessed 510 connection... issue there is if you do recess it, there may be some things that become unusable on it. So I understand your feelings on it, but also understand why it's done like this.
I like the idea of that wheel. It looks very convenient. I don't change settings on my provari much, and there's probably a reason for that. I noticed you said you vaped it at 4volts to measure the length of the batteries lasting ability. Was that to be relatively close to other 3.7v devices, or was that just the voltage you preferred? The reason I ask is it's so close to a non-VV device at 4v, and I too generally end up pretty much back at at 3.7-4.2v, which defeats the point of my provari.
@bladebarrier Good question and the answer is yes. Yes because it was close to a 3.7v device and yes because with that particular juice and with that particular carto, 4V was good enough. The last thing I want to do is get used to stronger TH. Then before you know it, I'm back up in mg, and a eGo isn't good enough anymore. It's just nice to have the VV for juices that have very low TH or for a higher resistance carto/atty.
I don't know why people even waste their time with these mods, not trying to diss the product you're reviewing.. But the ProVari is the way to go, i haven't even thought about another mod since i got mine.
@facehunter504 Taste in juice and devices is subjective. Some people don't want to mess with the button presses, and I can understand that. Some people wouldn't want to mess with the thumb wheel, and I can understand that as well. As a reviewer, I need to be fair and impartial.
Your comment, "The ProVari is the way to go" is completely based on opinion and is subjective.
Perhaps Darwin users feel the same way about their device and I'm sure Buzz Pro users feel that way about theirs.
@facehunter504 Personally I like my e-cigs to be as simple as possible. I like simple things, especially when I'm not working. I work with network routers, switches and embedded systems pretty much every day (which is ok most of the time) - but I do not want to see any flashing led's when I'm trying to vape and relax :)
@facehunter504 That's pretty cool :) I know many people who are totally happy with ProVari and for them it's the ultimate vaping machine. I haven't found my ultimate vv-mod yet, but I think the Buzz Pro may just be a perfect solution for me. At least I hope so :)
Sorry about my multiple posts. I was trying to edit my message, but this freaking youtube won't allow me to do that. Only way to edit messages is to delete and rewrite 'em. Since english is not my native language it's pretty easy for me to make mistakes. Once again, sorry - my bad.
I'm about to order this device soon and before I do I was obviously looking for more information about it - so your timing for this review was just perfect. After seeing your review I just decided to go for it. I know that you're one of the most honest reviewers out there - and I live in Finland - so I need honest opinions before I order anything from the other side of the world. Your reviews are informative and funny and those are just few of the reasons I watch your videos. Thank you :)
@pbusardo Thanks :) I'm trying to get one of those 'Mist of the Woods' Buzz Pros but availability is kinda limited at the moment.
We have small but active e-cig users community here in Finland (around 500 forum members so far), and some of us follow e-cig youtube channels (like GrimmGreen,QCAssociates and of course your channel).
and so it begins, Phil, the eGo simpleton is becoming a Mod lover ;)
Great review as always Phil, was looking at getting one of these, I will say the thumbwheel seems like it would be a bit of a Love/Hate thing, as you said its easy to dial in your sweet spot because you can just adjust to taste which I love, but I could see myself constantly having to re adjust it when I'm out and about. Unfortunately my other drawback is to me its kind of ugly hah. I'd want something with a little more finish
@shadymf Have you noticed that it also comes with a wooden finish? They call it "Mist of the Woods Special". I don't know if those are actually available yet, but I do know that it's gonna be a bit more expensive. I think they look pretty cool.
Great review! Thanks!
