Look for XTC's work as the "Dukes ofSstratosphear" - I could describe it, but it's better to just experience it. Also, Nonsuch is a great album too. Skylarking is amazing but give Nonsuch and Oranges/Lemons a change to grow on you. It'll come. Great music always wins in the end.

Skylarking and Oranges and Lemons were the first albums I got by them, and didn't really get it until after awhile of owning them. You should check out Apple Venus Vol. 1 though. It's just epic and beautifully put together.

My opinion of XTC has been mixed until hearing the "Skylarking" album. Kept hearing recommendations for the "Drums and Wires" album but couldn't really get behind it. Liked some songs on "Oranges and Lemons". Completely blown away by "Skylarking".
