Just installed mosfet on my gun, but I have a problem. It starts spinning the motor as soon as I put the battery to it altough I do not touch the trigger. Where is the problem?

soldering tip for noobs. clean surface with flux or you will have a hard time getting the solder to stick. also, don't touch surface with your fingers. that was a clean new mechbox. existing mechbox's are dirty and greasy.

when you say solder it to the upper trigger wire do you mean solder to the actual upper wire or solder to the original place the upper wire was attached to (the part you desoldered)

If that mosfet has A/B, then it is broken. Notice when you fired it on semi it didn't reset properly? You're getting over spin. So either that's not an A/B mosfet, or it's malfunctioning.

Isn't AB supposed to return the piston back to its starting position? If so why didn't the piston do that? You went full auto and then it stopped while still compressed.

yeah its 100% on semi so every semi shot makes it return whereas its not the same for full auto, one shot in semi does the trick

The mosfet can handle 11v, so yes however i would not reccomend this as this would be too much strain on the pinion gear of the turbo motor which will snap or loose its teeth, Also the piston and sector gear engagement will also be off. You will need to short stroke it

Hi,i build my Fet´s by using a IRF3703 Fet + 100ohm and a 30kohm resistancepeace,wich will only cost u around 5$.-those prebuilt fets way too expensive!With a PDI190%/Prometheus TU gears,G&P M160 Motor and a 9,6v 3300mah largetype batt i´m getting around 27rps and the Fet gets only handwarm.Only thing is that ur Piniongear on the motor will wear off very fast,because all the power from the batt goes straight to the motor.Anyway,good Vid...

Yes same process as installing a mosfet or a computer burst chip, Mosfet is $30 shipped to anywhere in the world. It does add some strain on your pinion gear however its way way less than the stress on your gears and gearbox when not using a mosfet. This is only a guide i do not sell them but can provide an e mail to a person that does
