Did Santorum just change the accepted viewpoint of all republicans and conservatives? wow. All this time I thought I was a conservative because I loved the constitution. I just cant believe Iowa. Either these people are insane or the votes were stolen. There just doesnt seem to be any way to protect the vote anymore and it seems those at the top dont want there to be. You just cant keep picking the status quo and get something different.

@conservativetothecor in ron paul's case, i don't think it was particularly surprising. when he surged in the polls the media ignored it, and when he began to look like he'll win the iowa caucus the media stated they'll "just take it out" and discredit the results. then the newsletters came in and they began attacking ron paul and even the libertarian base of supporters! what happened? ron paul began to sink! iowa just got bullied by mainstream media!
@conservativetothecor what's funny to me is that all the GOP candidates started to agree with ron paul up until the newsletters started recirculating. now his views are "radical", once again. but what that shows is how much they pander to the popular candidate and agree with certain points of view as long as there's a bandwagon to ride, but none of them have their own philosophy to drive them. that's why i think if ron paul doesn't win the primaries, it's easy street for obama. undoubtedly.
If Santorum loves war so much, let's send him or his children off to fight Iran, and see how he feels about it when his legs get blown off or when he sees innocent civilians sprayed with bullets before his eyes.

Then Authoritarian Populism (mostly from State Socialists) infiltrated in to dumb down first principles and introducing positive rights; which killed all the foundation making any body from the past drop the term to Libertarian, or Voluntarist. As of now they call themselves Liberals but they just use that term to appear humanitarian.
Rick Santorum came to the UNI campus in Cedar Falls and 65 people showed up, Ron Paul showed up that night and 1200 people showed up. How did Santorum even come close?
@jakenichols Santorum got the Fox News vote. Rupert Murdoch endorsed Santorum and he has been discussed favorably on nearly every fox news show for the last 3 months, while every other candidate was picked apart and attacked.
I don't know, it would be tough to fake a big lead like that at the caucuses, there are just a lot of dumb people out in the country that voted for him, when you look at the map he won all of the rural counties that Ron Paul did not, Mitt just won the cities. Ron Paul won my pricinct and my county, Black Hawk County.
We've already had 4 more years of Bush with Obama. They're all part of the "government is the solution" party. We need someone from the "freedom is the solution" party -- Ron Paul or Gary Johnson.
