  • yes!

  • Wow you made it look so easy. Just wondering if I used fresh potatoes, would the filling be too watery or too dry? Thanks for posting:)

  • @jesusatemycereal Hi. Thank you so much for stopping by and writing in. I've made this both ways.. with fresh sweet potatoes and with canned. The texture seems a bit creamier with the canned, but the pies turned out great both ways. I also found some cans of organic sweet potatoes at a local warehouse club, so I will probably try that next time. Hope you can try this recipe... it reminds me of a pumpkin pie. Happy Holidays and hugs...

  • That looks way too sweet, sweet potato is naturally sweet (as its name already states), I wouldnt add so much sugar and condensed milk.

  • @MusicMixology Hi! Thank you so much for watching and writing in. I tend to like things on the sweet side, but yes, you can cut back on the sugar, etc. It reminds me a lot of pumpkin pie. Thank you again for taking the time to write in. Hope you are doing great. Take care... hugs.

  • @MusicMixology the sweet potato has a sweeter taste than the regular potoato, but it is not sweet.

  • That pie looks like pure dessert heaven.

  • Hi tuffydoodle! How are you? Oh, this pie is delicious. Reminds me of pumpkin pie. Hope you can try it sometime! Have a beautiful weekend. Thank you for commenting! Hugs!

  • thanks very much for the recipe, i have never eaten sweet potato pie before and it was absolutely delicious!

the only difference with my cooking process is that i baked fresh potatos which i think have a better flavour than boiled or out of a can.

Thanks very much, we who ate my pie all agreed it was a 10-10!!!

  • Hi tozzarozza! Thank you so much for the very kind words! You used fresh potatoes? Oh, you are so right... it is better with fresh. I just took the lazy way and used canned, ha ha ha. This recipe reminds me a lot of pumpkin pie, but I like this better. Sweet potatoes are so good for you too. Thank you again for commenting. Hope you have a beautiful weekend! Hugs to you and yours...

I love it. I can't wait to try it. The only thing I am going to do differently is to use fresh sweet potatoes instead of the can ones. Great job. You are the greatest.
