Dragon Attacks City in Skyrim!

I always thought dragons didn't attack in walled cities. The only reason I searched this is because a frost dragon attacked me in the middle of Solitude. No Joke!!!

@nelsonkike9 You have to have at least killed your first dragon at the Whiterun watchtower before they start spawning everywhere. Hope that helped :)

i once fought a dragon in a clusterfuck of enemies, 1 frost dragon 2 mammoths, 2 giants, multiple bears and sabre cats and a fort of bandits.... it was a free for all and i just focused on the dragon and watched the enemies tear each other apart.

Try getting attacked by a dragon while climbing a mountain. You will literally run for your life. Nowhere to run, noone to help and you're being burnt alive.

I got attacked just outside Windhelm once. Dragon landed once and got swarmed by city guards and a random roaming band of Kahjit. Was awesome lol.

I saw one flying overhead at night when i went back to riverwood for a visit or whatever the first hamlet is. But it did nothing i shot like 30 arrows at it and i just kept cirlcling,roaring swooping, tehn i got attacked by a wolf and giant kill and my dumbass horse got stuck in the rive so I fast traveled somehwer and there's a randomass dragon skeleton emptied of its goods outside of Whiterun.

A dragon attacked me while I was in solitude!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I seriously don't know if it was supposed to happen but the dragon took off with one of the kids that were playing tag!!!!!!!!! It was So Fuckin' Hilarious!

The kid asks if I want to play tag, next thing I knew he was dragon soup!!!!! It just flew off with the kid! Never to return again!!!!!!

A dragon followed me into Whiterun once. With all the warriors and guards in that city, it fell pretty quickly with no casualties save for maybe one farmer outside the city.

I have been attacked by three dragons in Riverwood

I've had 3 dragon assaults on Marthal and one in Marcath. Also I saw one fly over Whiterun, but it didn't attack. And most of the times the city guards didnt even help me!

@andybirger The guards in Marcath often say that defeating a dragon there should be relatively easy due to their not being much room for them to maneuver. Does that hold true at all?

@evilemperordude In Marcath they always land on the top of the roofs, where they use fire/frost breath.

a random encounter once happend where a dragon attacked a giant and the dragon got fucked up 0.0 free soul and i got the hell out of there after cuz that giant was not happy!

They said Dragons attacking cities happened rarely. Those are the only places they attack me.
