8 ball or pool as we call is just really for children over here (in the UK). I first cleared a pool table off the break (known as "dishing") when I was 7yrs old. I have played snooker ever since I was ten. Ten was the minimum age at my club you had to be to be "allowed to play".

Listen, I played at a fairly decent level (snooker) for years. Not pro...but a decent amateur level.

Pool? Well, I played it sometimes in a pub or on holiday for a laugh.

My point is this. In my local club I played the REGIONAL 9 BALL CHAMPION in a best of three at snooker and pool.

Snooker. 2-0 to me. Pool? 2-1....to me. Those pockets looked huge and the balls easy to snooker behind.

Snooker does indeed appear harder than 15 ball or 9 ball pool, but it appears much more complicated. Not only do you have to take a ball out every ball besides red, but you have to keep score, something thats not necessary in the pool I'm familiar with.

Either way, this guy is amazing, and most certainly one of the best billiards players I'll ever see.
