Yes this is Dr. Philip Zimbardo. He wrote the book "The Lucifer Effect." It's about the way people become evil under the right circumstances and he points out his own troubles during "The Stanford Prison Experiment." When he allowed the subjects to literally humiliate each other in humanely for six days of a 14 day study involving roles. It wasn't his fault, it was just hard to imagine such an extreme reaction from the subjects so fast. Great book for the Psychology lover. Zimbardo's brilliant

yeah, it made it easy for us to understand, but it was pretty unethical because Zimbardo played too many roles during the experiment and in long term, it did leave the subjects fairly affected. Some of them needed therapy. :S
