Where do you think Gears of War got it's ideas from? Good old 40k. The 40k universe has been around since the 80s.

I play both WH40k and Starcraft. Of course Starcraft is a copy, but they also got some nice things like NOT having Orks, Chaos or any other gothic bullcrap. But then again, WH40k has far superior storyline.

For me it goes like this:
