  • This machine can save 1000 back !

  • What's the purpose of the tumbler?

  • @JessesYuToob I'd say to release any dirt or loose bark

  • @JessesYuToob i reckon its to 'clean' the wood, de barking and such.

  • Electric or Petrol? and how much that cost? (average price)

  • It is sad that till these days and ages, we still need firewood. We should have a much more efficient way to warm houses now.

  • @SunnyMoon2010 wood is a renewable resorce, and taking out old growth and dead standing trees is actually good for the forest. I don't know if you have ever heated with wood, but there is really no better heat

  • @bdshank Disagree.. Wood is a very poor choice of "renewable resource". The growth rate of lumber/tree does not justify them as a fuel source. If one burn bamboo, then I agree. Growing algae or biodiesel is a way better way as a fuel for heating.

  • @SunnyMoon2010 I don't know if you realize that cleaning up the forest by harvesting old growth or dead wood actually helps the sapplings grow. But hey, good luck with the algae

  • @SunnyMoon2010 There is many people who lives here in N.C. that owns many, many acres of wooded land. And to them it's cheaper to use the trees they have instead of paying for any other type of fuel for heat.

  • @bdshank theres nothing like a wood fire. i harvest my timber from my own property, its free and im independant of anyone delivering a product to heat my home. its a pity hippy dreamers think we'd be better off burning products that involve a great degree of technical input to grow and process, then having to rely on others to have it delivered to us at some exorbitant cost.

  • try some black oak or eucalyptus then ill take one to

  • I wana see that thing go through some Hickry or White Oak. Then I'll take one

  • what a great idea

  • Make my axe look prehistoric

  • Very Very Nice Machine!

  • what a beautiful machine

  • Wheres the 10:00:00 version?

  • This is an Ent's horror movie.

  • whats the point uf the tumbler at the end ?

probs an ignorant question but neva know till you ask :)

  • @genuineforce To get rid of the excess from splitting.

  • @genuineforce Sorts out the pieces too small for use, they fit through the slots in the tumbler and fall out the bottom.

  • hydraulics greatest invention of all time

  • My balls hurt

  • Lovely sound

  • Needs a Hydraulic "tool changer" to go between 8 split and 12 split tools without operator intervention . Not a bad processor though.

  • @cambriacity You replace the axe by lifting it by hand. Axes are available in 2/4-way, 2/6-way, 2/8-way and 12-way.

  • dear santa...

  • @bannainmyass see my vids&learn ehrbs like lavender,dill,dock,dandelion,kelp,reishi,pine etC

  • now just make it stack the wood.

  • Yeah, Right..The video add makes sure to use the easiest , softest wood in the World.............I split all day long...And this just isn't possible...NEVER

  • @LEHIGHDRIVE I have used them. It is very real. The only thing this had even a small amount of trouble with was Osage Orange. And even with that, this machine handled it beautifully.

  • @LEHIGHDRIVE I agree.. I want to see a birch log with branches as thick as the log itself.. Then we can talk.. :)

  • Thanks for for lowering the atmosphere oxygen level.

  • Genius !!!! Ye think wal-mart sells them?

  • (enter how its made theme tune here) =D

  • Is this thing cool or what? I spilt firewood using my 22 ton Huskee and this machine can split wood 1000X faster than me.

  • this thing is way cool!

  • I COULD watch that for hours!

  • Tell me if im wrong but THAT was orgasmic!

  • the only problem with the second spliting thing he installed is u will be shorted a cord of wood my using less logs but i geuss is when u own a firewood co u can screw the coustomers lol just saying

  • not China. Finland.

  • Something tells me this ain't made in China

  • Dear Santa,

  • BADASS

  • nothin beats the efficiency of hand splittin wood

  • i want one of this machine for my old man at the village... he's using the ax to slice the wood in small pieces for stove... so, dear Santa... :)

  • I guess you have to use high log grades (straight wood) because I doubt it would pass some real firewood through the splitter. I'd like to see it run some hickory with knots in it.

  • I wonder if there are any problems with the logs having trouble rolling down to the splitter after being cut. It seems that a good size knot could throw the log off balance and end up sideways in the splitter.

  • I wonder if it has a splitting head that is a 1/2 or three way. Here in the north or Canada smaller pieces have little value as far as long term slower burning.

  • will it blend.? that is the question!

  • does log splitting go any easier

  • like

  • how often do the blades dull?

  • i would hate to be thrown in that thing

  • What's the tumbler for?

  • Cool!!! That's fun to watch!!

  • anyone else think this sounds like biting into an apple?

  • how much does this machine cost?

  • @ihavetwonipples TO MUCH HAHA

  • Just the splitting section is approx $12k. The auto-loader conveyor is $3k. The unload conveyor with tumbler is $4k. So, for the whole thing would be under $20k. This is for large, wood clearing operations that process firewood year around. Otherwise, you'd never get you money back out of it. Then you have to have some kind of truck to load the logs, transport for the split wood, saw blades with a sharpening machine, etc.

  • Hammer! Und wie viel kostet die Anlage?° ( Das Gerät)

  • What kind of wood was it? During this demo

  • Comment removed

  • are these actually economical? it seems so elaborate when the alternative is a $20 axe

  • @bdpra68 if you are doing it every day then yes, remember its a twenty dollar axe and about 10 hours of work with a group of guys. having to pay each person for there work every day would eventually add up to much more than this machine.

  • @bdpra68 yeah spend 100k on one of these and use it every few weeks

  • @hardflip2lateflip And you will wonder why you didn't get one sooner!

  • mmmm Birch wood..

  • Splitter part reminds me of my french fry cutter , great machine you have there

  • how do you sharpen it??

  • where can this be seen in action and possibly purchased? im in ireland

  • Greetings from Germany

    Nice Machine

    By

    leder-speed.de

  • you fucking slitter

  • Every home owner should get one!!!

  • does it detect the size of the wood so it centers the blades ? if not it should

  • @MrShutyourdamnmouth I'm assuming one of the levers controls the height of the splitter, and gravity centers the log in the vertical axis.

  • I hand split about 5 cords per year on average with a maul.

This video made me want to kill myself.

  • @loganberry no shit, me too its so damn fast but so damn expensive too!!!

  • @loganberry see my vids & learn herbs like coriander, kelp, kale, dill, dandelion, dock, lavender ETC

  • @loganberry Join the club 0.o

  • Cool

  • i just wanna cum!:)

  • Feed it trees and it craps fire wood. Impressive.

  • чудо ленивка!!!))))

  • the mrs. would love one ot these for christmas too !

  • damn interesting

  • When he put the second set of blades in, I was like "..shit just got real."

  • top

  • hau que hingenio

  • thats the coolest thing i have ever seen....

  • I had wood while watching.

  • Really cool for 1/2 million dollar wood splitter...

  • @2011Maynard o, i c wut u did there just now...sarcasm. Amerikkka's funny bone.

  • What a waste of the sawdust, but still pretty cool.

  • when will there be a vid of some one going threw this thing on optimum?

  • Regardless of this wood cutter/Splitter or the other's. If your a save the woods kinda guy or think we that burning wood is destroying our atmosphere, well, than that's what was meant to be as that's thee only choice we had just a few centuries ago. You drive a car? your also at fault. I'm so tired of the 'Save an Owl Abort a Baby" type thinking it sickens me. Burning wood is probably the most affordable and practical ways to Heat a Families Home, and my 5 kids are going to stay warm regardless!

  • I think I am in love...

  • Holy mother of... hold on one second.

    Dear Santa.....

  • nice machine, how many pounds does it push the log with to break it?

  • Neat!! I could watch that thing all day. For you who say wood shouldnt be burned, then what will youchoose to burn for electricity, heat, warm water, computer and house power? If you want to criticize, lets hear some solutions, not just ranting. If you want to contribute here, then do so, anyone can bitch. If you have great ideas, lets hear them.

  • @KeyserSoseRulz Lol, so is your capability to convert oxygen to carbon dioxide, you fucking twit.

  • @KeyserSoseRulz

Why, global warming is just some bullshit, they try to tax and control no more. Destroying the forest and managing it are two different things.

  • @KeyserSoseRulz Look, You say burning trees is wrong, well I say $2,000.00 dollar a year Heat Bills are worse. I'm all for planting new seedlings and replacing what we cut, another thing you probably aren't considering is the fact that alot of times the trees that are burnt are already dead or fallen prior to the cut and split. Did you know Falling trees during storms have killed many a person in their homes/cars. Your probably anti deer hunting also, until one runs in front of your new car.

  • What if someone did that to your head?

  • 1:37

    WAIT JIMMY IT'S STILL ON!

  • Dude, you just took the fun out of my wood cutting and splitting. Now what do I tell the wife I need beer for?

  • Who wants one for Christmas?

  • ништяк!

  • Demo this at the Democratic convention.

  • excellent video

  • I want it

  • Take that nature!

  • Put Detroit with open pipes On it and it will be perfect

  • VERY NICE! Only thing it is missing is a metal spike detector to protect that fine cutting wheel.

  • @jetpowered1 That looks like it would be pretty expensive to replace too.

  • @jetpowered1 what's missing is hefty prison sentences for the ones who place the metal spikes.

  • nice! Easy and safety.

  • best and safest log splitter that i ever seen! bet it cost a pretty penny

  • i could watch this all day

  • ekstra maszyna

  • A tree huggers nightmare!!

  • Comment removed

  • hakmetforestry hoeveel kracht heefd die pers die de blokken splijt?

  • very cool. i suppose this is like commercial firewood processing...

  • Who cares about CO2 anyway, that is what trees require to GROW !!! I am just referring to the total pollution being worse from the volcanoes.

  • no wonder a bundle at the gas station is being sold for 9 bucks. This machine cant be cheap to operate. Looks like a hell of a lot of fun to operate.

  • why did i just watch logs being split for an hour?

  • @breebreeskullderlife cuz that thing's cool as fuck...

  • well this would make since in rural areas were people needed the fire wood

  • Fantastic machine:)

  • Dear Santa

  • That's hipnotizing :]

  • that is nothing short of AWESOME! well done

  • who are the 17 assholes that didn't think that was bad-ass?!

  • @raptorcommander thats the 17 ass holes who rather use a sledge hammer an splitting maul.

  • Whats the tumbler for??

  • @TheKxpower It helps break the pieces up

  • It looks like it's well suited to nice straight clean lengths, but how does it cope with the more gnarly bits? I can't help but wonder if there were a few branch stumps present there would be a good chance the log could bounce through 90 degrees after cutting and end up going through the splitter sideways.

  • MIEC TAKĄ MASZYNĘ I RZUCAM OBECNĄ PRACE....

  • kannst du diesen spalter unserem förster zeigen , sowas ist in unser gemeinde längst fällig , das die so eine maschiene haben

  • This is without a doubt the coolest machine ever...

  • @HairstylistRose Yeah but, they're like killing all of our trees; we need to go green and have appropriate legislation against violent machines, . . .

  • @phillipgaley go fucking die

  • @phillipgaley I'm all for going green, but I hope you were joking. Generally home heat is from wood, oil or electricity, which is generally from coal. Out of those three, something direct from the forrest seems the most environmentally friendly.

I'd be willing to bet that naturally caused forest fires burn a lot more wood than is used for home heat each year.

Either way, this takes nothing away from how awesome this machine is.

  • @HairstylistRose Well—except that, you need to teach your sons how to work—it may be okay for a younger man, but the older the man, the greater the need for work.

Strom Thurmond lived to 104—he spent just a whole lotta time in the gymn.

With a cross-cut saw and a maul, to prepare a winter's wood is just not all that difficult but it is so good for you; so, . . .

The underlying cause of forest fires is, no population out there to maintain healthy forests, . . .

    Violent machines; ya like that—huh?

  • @HairstylistRose You are absolutely incorrect about burning wood being environmentally friendly. It is by far the dirtiest way to generate heat, and it's time for those who claim to care for the environment to spend just a few minutes looking into the matter. A wood fire generates large amount of smoke and soot (pellet stoves as well), a very dangerous and unhealthy characteristic. I'm afraid the tree huggers will finally have to admit that nuclear power is by far the cleanest and cheapest.

  • @beeroosterm The latest volcanoes erupting have done more to stuff the environment in a month than mankind has done in 100 years.

  • @mfiddynz Even if true (by the way, please name your source), it has no bearing on my comment whatsoever.

  • @mfiddynz According to T.M.Gerlach of the American Geophysical Union, "Human-made CO2 exceeds the estimated global release of CO2 from volcanoes by at least 150 times."

And for the record, I burn firewood, hunt and trap, and drive a large diesel truck. I just went and looked that up because you were obviously full of shit, and I don't like shit. Have a nice day!

  • @mfiddynz hah you got shot down. Shit talker

  • @phillipgaley What are you referring to when you speak of "violent machines"?

  • @beeroosterm Because, on YT, for the fact that, we don't choose our contacts but only on the slightest commonality, for that reason, humor is a challenge—however, I do sometimes try it: while, a woodsplitter or, and car or, a kitchen knife is in the first instance useful, any of those could be used carelessly, or, as a weapon; none bear evil animus or intent, and so, none are violent, but only in the now common stringy rationalizations passing for currency in a psychologically impoverished USA

  • . . . . so, . . . in the long and short of it, I there discreetly highlight the misleading logic of the tree-hugger types who ram stuff down an otherwise good nation's throat simply because, in so many areas of life and law, the average individual is without sufficient common sense to, "Just say: NO!", . . .

  • @phillipgaley Listen, In every State their both Federal and State regulations on any Logging Operations, where, When and How Much, plus That Logging Company than has to contract and have Seedlings planted for that next generation of Logger's. Also, many Logging Companies don't clear cut but Thin out The Monster's so The little or smaller trees get more sunlight which turns on the hypo synthesis for those smaller trees to get growing, an overcrowded Forrest is worse than a thinned out Forrest,

  • @DCSCOTT1961 Just a way, way too many people have bought into the regulation "idea" as a "cure-all". Firewood—wood in general—is a source of solar power utilization; there's hardly anyone out in the hinterland, keeping control over the forests.

And one other thing, . . . no thinking mind—and rational—could attributed violence to any mere machine, . . .

  • Dayum, that is just too awesome for mere words!

  • @MadGunnerMan I can't say for sure, but it looks to me the tumbling bin is there to separate kindling from the proper firewood. I often see small net bags of kindling for sale in petrol stations etc. They're separating all the products, sawdust, kindling, firewood.

  • @MadGunnerMan Tumbler is for debarking.

  • @MadGunnerMan gets bark off

  • @MadGunnerMan some of the peaces might still be attached this way they fall apart

  • @MadGunnerMan I'm wondering the same thing? Is it to remove dirt? What would dirt hurt, though, if the wood's going to be burned?

  • Comment removed

  • @MadGunnerMan i think it takes all shit away and little tree peaces

  • @MadGunnerMan to get all the small scraps? just a guess

  • @MadGunnerMan

I think it breaks up the pieces that don't break apart cleanely - still attached to each other?

  • @MadGunnerMan I would think that the tumbling would break any pieces apart that are stuck together

  • @MadGunnerMan Maybe to remove any small shards from the lot? I'm just guessing.

  • @MadGunnerMan i think it looks like a debarker

  • @MadGunnerMan the tumbler is designed to tumble loose bark, chips, and debris from your cut & split firewood

  • @MadGunnerMan

To take out dirt and bark debris

  • @MadGunnerMan

To take out dirt and bark debris

  • @MadGunnerMan

My guess is it removes bark and possibly jagged pieces that can happen when you split.
