:) man , 10D is much better than 350D they are different classes and 10D is high.The shutter of 10D sounds like that because he make a 3 photos with different exposition "+, 0 , -" Then u can make a HDR photo from this 3 photos.Read in internet about HDR photo and you will understand my words :). The sound in this case mean nothing.

Obviously, the EOS 350D is newer than the 10D, but the latter is semi-pro.

I really don't like the shuttersound of my 10D.
It sounds like it needs to be lubricated.
