Hey, I was looking at this unit and found your vid. After 10 months, you still like this it ? Do you still recommend it ?

@burghoorn Still like it for basic downlink NTSC video capture. I use a GoPro for HD recording presentation video.

You can overwrite data on SD card or have it fill up and stop recording. I have programed mine to make a new file every 30 minutes. I use it as a black box recorder for trouble shooting and finding my plane if it goes down.

Nice vid, do you know how the MiniDVR handles static? Does it drop out or bluescreen at all?

I believe you can choose either. Mine is set to over write, How much time do you need? A 4GB SD card is a lot of video! If you need me to start it up and check it for sure let me know and I'll look the next time I go flying and get back to you.

Do you know what happens if SD card runs out of space? Does it end recording, or does it have continuous recording feature(if run out of space some video is automatically removed).

I've been looking some cheap DVR with continous recording capability for car black-box project.
