  • awesome video

  • This video changed my entire perspective on the triangle choke. It went from being one of my better submissions to my BEST, hands down. Once I clear the either shoulder, it's an almost guaranteed sub. Thank you again, from New Jersey.

  • This is a very helpful tutorial :D Please make a tutorial on the figure 4 leg lock

  • Amazing ;)

  • Thanks!!

    Make more videos like that.

  • I almost pulled this off during a brawl in football

  • You forgot about grabbing the right ankle and pulling down but great tutorial =)

  • Another excellent video sir. i am subscribed and will definitely recommend you to my friends and to my bjj school. Your students are very fortunate to have such a knowledgeable and talented instructor. strong work!

  • very precise video, good job

  • do a video on the 'ground n pound'

  • @AJ20ist

    I'll look into doing that

  • Best vid on youtube for the triangle. Many thanks from Britain

  • @littleliuboy

Thank you. Really glad you like it - hope you can use some of it in your training and competition

  • awesome video!!! i know where i was going wrong now :)

  • @spleeb12345

    Thanks man!

    Always a pleasure to help

  • Very nice video! However one thing i would ask you...in the event the guy tries to lift you up and dump you on the ground- a sort of the rampage vs arona scenario, what do you recommend?

  • @JasonZification

There are a couple of things you can do to try to prevent your opponent from standing up - underhooking his leg with your arm is one of them (in my video I would use my right arm).

If your opponent tries to slam you, you should curl up and hold on to his head - he'll most likely slam him self tighter into the triangle. If he can lift you high (Rampage style), let go when you're 4 feet up and you can land in standing position ... requires a little practice :-)

  • omg, this is very useful. Thank you so much I learned so much.

  • @Farrux888

You're welcome! And I'm really glad you can use it.

Try also to check out the new video I did on the mechanics of the arm triangle if you need pointers on that

  • @StofferInc I tried it against strong guys, and it won't work =( Can you make a video that how to force big and strong guys to tap

  • @Farrux888

    Hi agian

Fighting bigger and stronger opponents is always a challenge. I always aim at top position and submissions from the top, like arm triangle or baseball choke. I have a video on the arm triangle, maybe I'll make one on the baseball choke ... But always remember that timing is important in every submission and against bigger an stronger opponents it's even more important - Keep training them and it'll start working :-)

  • @StofferInc ok got it :) thanks a lot, you're the best.

  • This video really helps. Thanks :)

  • @PAKAPUNCHER

Thanks! I really appreciate the feedback :-)

  • Is there a chance the opp. will attack your groin? In this position, he can easily drop his shoulder/arm into your groin, thus causing you to let go. What are the chances of this happening?

  • @jtrophy

well ... first of all you're wearing a cup for groin protection and second pushing into the groin will put more pressure on the throat and make the choke even tighter - so not very likely

  • @jtrophy Not another one...

If he drops his shoulder in my groin:

    1. I'll be too hyped up on adrenaline to feel anything if it works

    2. I'll use that to tighten the triangle up even more.

    3. I'll take sore balls over getting choked out anyday.

Search DraculinoTeamTx for Provoking a Giant 2: Ball Grabbers

Once a Triangle is locked there's no space for your elbow/shoulder and it's going to be tight (if they know what their doing) with your shoulder/arm pushed up against your face.

  • I also noticed you can do a triangle a guiteen and possibly a kimoro with the back triangle thing

  • @h3llom4te

Not sure what you mean here ?? ....

  • What if you do a triangle and a kimoro at the same time? Can you do that in MMA/IUFC?

  • @h3llom4te

You can do a Kimura from the triangle posision

  • What if you do a triangle and a kimoro at the same time? Can you do that in MMA?

  • good details & explanation.. thanks.. :)

  • @HeavayMetal

    Thanks!

  • @StofferInc No problem man.. your welcome.. :)

  • very good submission!

  • @1crapacila

  • Dude really amazing stuff! Awesome tutorial. Love it!

  • @marintoss

Tank you ... hope it helps you in your training

  • @StofferInc Helps me a lot! Learned Triangle like master xD 10Q

  • question? can this be used in a real (not a professional) fight? and won't the opponent resort to biting when trapped in the hold?

  • @RickyBoyBlu

I don't know - I have never fought outside the gym. However biting seems a bit difficult since your arm get positioned across your face

  • great tutorial...

  • @mikocharlie

Thanks! ... more videos will come when I have time to tape it

  • clearest explanation i have seen... all the DETAILS are there. Thank you.

  • @luisgarcia28
