Woooow! that was sweet! I blame you for providing me an obsession with Carmilla suddenly. I even went to watch Perfume. It was great, and a little...well something else at the end especially. Haha. But in the book they say Carmilla is dark brown-haired with something of gold. Where did the red hair come from? Anyway, great job. will this be all?
@ethangunner Well, I had to use the footage that was available. For that matter, Laura is supposed to have golden hair! Incidentally, the new year should see publication of THE ANNOTATED CARMILLA, edited by yours truly! Thanks so much for your kind words!
Perfect use of Perfume (charming Carmilla) and American Hunting (hungry/grieving Carmilla). I have no idea how you came up with this combination of actresses, but great job. At first I was worried the whole thing would be B&W, making the little difference between the girls, but then colors came and Carmilla's red hair popped in and everything was dreamy. Damnit, the ghost-ly scene next to the bed was just like in the book!
@zahir13 I read the story in English (not my mothertongue) when I was around 16 and I made this tribute to it: evangeline-sibeliah (dot) deviantart (dot) com/gallery/#/d1birpe The picture is of me and my friend.
@forrykid Thank you so much! Honestly, though, I just found there wasn't much I could do after Part 3 of the slideshow. It was getting harder and harder. Me, I'd love to see a really top-knotch film adaptation--preferably starring Rachel Hurd Wood and Evannna Lynch.

@ethangunner Not usually. By editor in this instance I mean I wrote all the 400+ footnotes.

@AnkokuEvangeline Thank you! I'll admit to being fascinated by this story, even more than DRACULA. "Dreamy" was something aimed for.

Whoa...!
Sorry...I sound a little "edgy", there...
I've gotten used to the ending of Part 3...kind of poetic, actually.
As is this and ALL of your videos!
Thank you for filling my Gothic Soul with Dark Dreams...

If you take all 6 videos of your "Carmilla Collection" and watch them in one sitting, you get a very faithful version of the novella.
You ARE very talented...but NEVER just end a video the way you did in Part 3 of your Slideshow.
That was very confusing and frustrating for many people...but that is the ONLY flaw in your beautiful renditions of this classic tale.
Thank you for taking the time to share something so beautiful.
