kuraku why would you be upset that tagalog is used i mean a large part of your population is of philippine ancestory. and please dont tell me about the hardship of guam . coz even in the main land we suffer hard ships too , im no insulting guam i been there several times . its a beautiful place , people too , but stop the crying man . hey alot of main landers died too , we didnt start that war japan did . oh maybe you think guam would be some great place with out us-aid . duh i dnt think so .
a movie is made for entertainment and, without doubt, for historical purpose too.
most of the times, actual aircraft are hard to come by, and movie producers have to find substitutes or build them. but that doesn't diminish the joy of watching a WW2 movie.
Not well recieved by the native Chamorros of Guam. Makes for a good story for a movie, but this film did not show the suffering that Chamorros endured during the war. Additionally, there are so many inaccuracies. I know for certain because my grandfather knew George Tweed personally, and is portrayed in this movie. Chamorros were upset that Filipinos and Tagalog language were used in this movie to portray them. Not a movie I would reccomend. The true story of the Chamorros has yet to be told.
Inaccurate!

@marineooo5
son, you do not know your planes very well. even in 62 when this was filmed there were no flying examples of fw190's. they used t6 or at6 trainers.
