  • really is not much used "buon pomeriggio" it is more used "buona sera " to say good evening

  • Sounds like she's saying Bwaaan Giono

  • chow

  • i need to know how to write these words and sentences too :/

  • Its like dora all over again -_-

  • Thank you for these videos :) I will be using your whole series! Much appreciated. God Bless you.

  • I would love to know if you are a native speaker, thanks.

  • Thanks this is what i was looking for!

  • This was annoying to listen to, you don't have the accent for it

  • NICE

  • ahahah io so già parlare italiano :) ahhaah comunque imparate che è una lingua romantica :)

  • I found one website very good!!!!. It is 12speak and you can speak with diferentts native speakers.

They have funny games and it is free!!!

  • when I was in Italy earlier this year it was Buon Giorno all day up to about 5:00 pm and some times Buono Giornata, which applies to the whole day. I never heard Buon pomeriggio.

  • @biggreentreefrog It probably depends on which part of Italy you were in?

  • @biggreentreefrog yes i'm italian and its true!! no one use to say buon pomeriggio u can say buon giorno untill 5 or 6 p.m after that u must say buona sera ( good evening) and buona notte or ( gd night) it used just the moment before go to sleep :)

  • @biggreentreefrog Yeah we don't use it very much we just say "Buona Sera" after 2 pm

  • Goodbye= I liveadirtcheap. lol

  • more like she talks to u like a bambina! lmfao

  • Good afternoon = Isn't it Buona sera? When I was in Italy they all said Buona Sera after 12...

  • @pedagogik technically Buona sera means "good evening." Either way is correct, though.

  • @pedagogik it's because here in Italy we don't usually say "buon pomeriggio", just "buona sera" after 12..but the right translate is this: "good afternoon" = "buon pomeriggio" and "good evening" = "buona sera"

  • @pedagogik Good afternoon= buon pomeriggio. Good evening = buona sera. In Italy we don't use much say "Buon pomeriggio" and afternoon 12 we say "good evening"

  • @tuke60 Grazie mille

  • secondo me questo è troppo facile credo.. 5 minuti Per; BUON GIORNO, BUON POMERIGGIO, e BUONANOTTE.. Jajajaja

  • thumbs up if u forget how to say good afternoon or good bye!!!

  • i wish these had the italian subtitles so that I can learn how to write in Italian

  • Did I just received many emails or was my imagination?

  • lol she talks to me like im a bambino.

  • HI, just one big thing. IF YOU PUT TEXT OF WHAT YOU ARE SAYING AT THE BOTTOM, IT WILL MAKE IT EASIER TO KNOW WHAT THE WORD LOOKS LIKE AND HOW TO IDENTIFY IT AND TO KNOW THE PRONOUNCIATION. Because when you say the first word it sounds like "Buon Jerno" and I don't know what that word looks like or how it's spelled.

  • @lureyourkidsinvan actually its better this way cause you get caught up trying to spell and you end up sounding like sh**

  • I can't roll my r's, so I'm pretty much screwed with this language. :P

  • Bon porno

  • Thank you very much sabrina.Really appreciatable lession and effort .

  • Thank you very much sabrina.Really appreciatable lession and effort .

  • Thanks. Very rewarding!

  • haha i never said it.

  • Do you actually say "buon pomeriggio?"

  • These are really good videos, but I heard that most people don't say Buon Pomeriggo but that they say Buona Sera. Which way is correct?! O.o

  • @ColoredRain13 Hello! Both ways are correct but "buon pomeriggio" is less used. We prefer to say "buongiorno" or "buonasera" because they are more "practical"! Greetings from Italy! :)

  • @Vane22april Thanks so much! Oh, and greetings from Venezuela! :P

  • Thank you so much for doing this!!! This is so helpful :)

  • BREVMISE MO! Di dove 'e lei? Lui 'e italiano?

  • Ur the best Sabrina! It's easy for me and ive only started :D

  • This girl lives like a slob.

  • Excellent pronunciation!

  • Buona Sera is good evening to the person below.

  • sabrina rhymes with vagina

  • Thanks for putting these lessons on . I think it would be very helpful if you had cards with the spelling. What do I know ?? ciao

  • i thought goodnight was buona sera ?

  • @plastikpimp it can mean good night as well. but both buona sera and buona notte mean good night.

  • @plastikpimp buona notte you say when you are (or somebody else is) leaving or for example if somebody goes to sleep. And buona sera you say when you are arriving to say "hello" in a polite way. It's like in english, when i think about it now. Good night is buona notte and good evening is buona sera...

  • i don't have a problem with my pronunciation!..i just need to learn words..

  • Parlo poco italiano

  • @jonhanzikri fanculo ( fan- cu-lo)

  • nice video

    arry vedertchi

    ^.^

  • @emailakr Arrivederci

The ci at the end makes a chee sound, but chi makes a key sound

  • "Buon Giorno" sounds so unfriendly, unlike "Buenos Dias"^^

  • somebody actually say "buon pommeriggio" in Italy?

  • wow that was so easy.. and so clear .. chaw ;)

  • Is it pronounced 'Bon' or 'Won'? I can't quite make it out here, lol

  • @MidnighWolf Bon, I really dislike this video because of the lack of display of spelling.

  • @MidnighWolf

you've to say BUON - GIORNO. make sure to let you hear the B letter to your interlocutor. Just to make practice for a correct pronunce, just add the 2 sounds from BU and english ON: BU + ON = BUON. It's easy ^_^

  • @MidnighWolf It's spelled "buongiorno". Pronounced like: (bwō̂n jyō̂r′nō̂). I wish this lesson had the words written on the screen when she says them...

  • Thanks so much for posting this!! It helps a lot!

  • Thanks... This really Helped! :)

  • viva italia...

io volio parlare italiano perche e la piu bella lingua in world....

ma mio universita e tanto difficile...

  • Non so perche continuo a guardare questi video se ho gia parlare e di vivere in Italia

and i also learned english through all the dam tourist i hate them so much

  • @awa4sho123 A me non pare che tu sappia parlare italiano!

  • uhm i like this vid but i cant tell if your saying Buan or guan.

  • @Vomitcake

BUON. Try to spell together BU + ON...

  • i love this channel i've been really passoniate about learning italian

  • this video needs subtitles...

  • Yea. And I find also, hearing it AND seeing it, it's kinda like a double whammy for learning. I think the more senses you can involve, the better & easier you learn. & trying to utilize learning by association can help. For example I bought a "Learn Italian" CD years ago. I didn't spend enough time on it to learn much, but, My g/f & I liked to travel a bit. Because of that I think I remember "Dove sono le valigie?" = "Where are the suitcases?" Wish I knew more. I wanna learn more.

  • @gjc82071

    Dutch is my taste

  • i l amano italiono

  • Being fluent or semi fluent in Spanish makes learning Italian easier.

  • @LGL69 Yes, Im a native speaker.. Makes it much easier for me ...

  • @LGLG69 well that's partly true..although there are tons of differences even if they seem very similar

  • @LGLG69 And also Portuguese !!!

  • @LGLG69 that makes since since their both latin based but i found it harder becasue i kept remembering the spanish words and pronunciations over the itialian words, did you have that trouble at all?

  • @CharmedGurl94952 yes, that happens to me occasionally.

  • @LGLG69 I agree with you! I have learn all the basics of italian in three days!

  • @LGLG69 Agreed, being semi-fluent in Spanish and French I'm sprinting through this language. This video is definitely not what I'm looking for.

  • @LGLG69 yes, but makes it just a tad bit harder to speak it due to mixing up similar words. atleast for me.

  • @LGLG69 It sure as heck does! I'm not fluent, but I know enough to get around and hold small conversation. Es una langua muy bonita.

  • is there any way you can put the words written on the videos as you ay them? it would really help!

  • @smthyoo buongiorno - buon pomeriggio - buonanotte - arrivederci - ciao

  • I've only started learning Italian and think this is great.

  • i don´t get it sorry, it´s buon or boun giorno...

  • This is wonderful! Thank you so mch for posting, as it simplifies everything! Thatnk you!

  • thanks alot for this entertaining subject

    keep goin :)

  • it helps me too :)

  • thanks so much for posting, it really helps me alot!
