What is meant by God is that element other than which nothing exists. This is the scientific definition of God. God means the whole,the total,everything whatever is. Osho was against even the idea that we are all god. He wrote against Alan Watts' description of leela as god playing all the parts of everything in the universe, but at the same time he loves Watts' The Book, which is all about that idea.

my opinion is that God created us and we use our brains with the intelligence that God also gave us to create things so there can be a evolution also. so God gave us the intelligence to create things also and it's our problem how we use this inteligence to create good or evil things. what Osho sais its just his POINT OF VIEW and i say that because his imaginations has gone so small that he doesnt see the "infinite" possibilities and sees just his ideea and sustains it.

Being a software developer, I would like to translate the existence of God into software development terms. God created the feature-rich ERP "software" called World and put it into production where the software deals with all kinds of data. GOD programmed the logic & formulas into the "software (world)" and now the software is up & running for millions of years. That's why a creature takes birth, grows young, grows old and then dies..the death is inevitable so are other stages of life.

Living organisms ARE evolving; the process depends on changes in a species that take several generations, so it's usually too slow for us to observe in our own lifetimes. But, some examples are bacteria that evolve resistance to antibiotics, and moths that change their camouflage coloring to suit a new environment after several generations. This happens sporadically, and over long timespans leads to divergent species adapted to separate environments.

I'd always assumed that evolution was part of intelligent design. If man can create an automobile which evolved over the years and man was created by GOD "in his own image", then by default, be responsible for any evolution that happens by our hand?

That is, animals that are less suitable for their environment are more likely to die before they breed, and the ones that are more suitable for their environment have higher chances of breeding. So animal species get more and more suitable for their environment after a long time.

Everyone's is entitled to their beliefs. However, I just wish people would do their research when stating there is no god or creator of the universe. I'm agnostic. I've often considered the possibility that evolution is a program being run by god. John Conway invented the Game of Life, fill in some random cells on a grid and a process akin to evolution takes over producing seemingly infinite generations of life. He's actually not arguing well. I agree with him, but the basic premise he overlooks is that if God is all-powerful, then he can do whatever he wants and make people doubt him and place good arguments on both sides, and still exist. If you even allow for the possibility of God, then the theist wins the argument because that assumes so much.

I just spent 10 minutes of my life listening to a guy who talks funny tell me that creationism is wrong because evolution is true. I agree with that, but I was expecting more out of this video.
I don't think creation means there is no room for evolution. Your parents made you but you grew from birth. Why can we not have been created TO evolve? We can get our heads around merging the two concepts instead of playing one against the other. And of course our construct of god is a fire and brimstone, anthropomorphised figure. But when I look under a microscope at a cell, I'm blown away.. to me the force of evolution that enables us to adapt and survive in this physical universe IS god.
I really enjoy these OSHO videos but i disagree with his stance on god. In my personal truth i feel God is not a sentient like being but rather God is a meta-program of the not of nothing and the nothing that is. The polarity of good and bad is the basis by which we experience full consciousness and free will, a position of relatively of subjective consensus through experience and thought which feel negative. We are just part of an infinite reflection in a grand generative orchestration.

Being a software developer, I would like to translate the existence of God into software development terms. God created the feature-rich ERP "software" called World and put it into production where the software deals with all kinds of data. GOD programmed the logic & formulas into the "software (world)" and now the software is up & running for millions of years. That's why a creature takes birth, grows young, grows old and then dies..the death is inevitable so are other stages of life.

Why introduce so many viruses and errors designed to hinder its productivity and efficiency? @AlexRider001 according to scripture, creation got hacked by n00b wanted to one-up God (God is never described as omnipotent. Close, but not absolute.) Sin is malware and it's corrupted everything. God could just reformat, but instead he wanted to save as much data as he could. However, we're all read-write-protected so we have to disable that to be saved. There are only two ways out: through his divine version of HijackThis! or an everlasting blue screen of death on the day of reformat.

Living organisms ARE evolving; the process depends on changes in a species that take several generations, so it's usually too slow for us to observe in our own lifetimes. But, some examples are bacteria that evolve resistance to antibiotics, and moths that change their camouflage coloring to suit a new environment after several generations. This happens sporadically, and over long timespans leads to divergent species adapted to separate environments.

That is, animals that are less suitable for their environment are more likely to die before they breed, and the ones that are more suitable for their environment have higher chances of breeding. I'm agnostic. I've often considered the possibility that evolution is a program being run by god. John Conway invented the Game of Life, fill in some random cells on a grid and a process akin to evolution takes over producing seemingly infinite generations of life. Evolution could just be a piece of software used by some cosmic being to efficiently produce stable life-forms. I agree with him, but the basic premise he overlooks is that if God is all-powerful, then he can do whatever he wants and make people doubt him and place good arguments on both sides, and still exist. For instance, can the all-powerful God of Theist create an object he can't lift..! if he creates it then he can't lift it so he's not all-powerful as he couldn't lift the object. I don't think creation means there is no room for evolution. Your parents made you but you grew from birth. Why can we not have been created TO evolve? We can get our heads around merging the two concepts instead of playing one against the other. And of course our construct of god is a fire and brimstone, anthropomorphised figure. But when I look under a microscope at a cell, I'm blown away.. to me the force of evolution that enables us to adapt and survive in this physical universe IS god.

I really enjoy these OSHO videos but i disagree with his stance on god. In my personal truth i feel God is not a sentient like being but rather God is a meta-program of the not of nothing and the nothing that is. The polarity of good and bad is the basis by which we experience full consciousness and free will, a position of relatively of subjective consensus through experience and thought which feel negative. We are just part of an infinite reflection in a grand generative orchestration.

1. evolution provides only one meaning for life and that is, if you like doing what your doing then do it.
2.there is no reason why it must have been january and monday.

I don't agree with much of Osho's ideas. But I really do admire his mental powers. He has written and spoken on so much topics. A very powerful brain indeed.

The difficulty is not reconciling God with responsibility and eventuality, the difficulty is with humanity accepting the eternal equilibrium of response beyond self. That is nature, that is humanity, in God. Osho is so eager to undermine religious convention that he undermines spiritual intuition in the process. God is not religion

it's an interesting point that creation implies perfection and evolution would be unnecessary, but that's certainly not an argument against a god. it would be easy to say god employs evolution for any number of reasons.

It never ceases to amaze me how Christians outright attack every single person who has a different opinion than they do. Such arrogance! In all of the millions of gods since the beginning of time...they believe they have the only one. Surprisingly he came from a small tribe in the middle of the desert. How convenient! Go visit the folks there now, and you will get an idea of what it was like 2000 years ago, because they are exactly the same. I do not believe that any god came from there.

I don't blame God for wars. God doesn't exist. I blame religion for wars. Religion DOES exist and it tells people there is something above reason to come to conclusions.

The whole Idea of The Human's idea of God never sit well with me because of its all flawed absurdities, now having discovered Osho really helped seen my reasoning for what it being there. The whole christian doctrine, the bible, is just a control device to keep us under.

@DeadlyDreamerX i agree with you about Noah and probably the bible is made up, but it's more then that, just read with attention and see that in the constant contradiction (john 11, 42) - is writing that you are god's son and you may become god if you don't sell your power, (genesis 6, 2, john 10, 34)!so the bible is a mirror - how people sell themselves, how they kill to gain power, and my opinion is that this book is not made for ordinary people, it is written for men with power.

If all things are interconnected, by implication of the universally accepted idea that the principal of the golden rule holds, then there must be a point of orgin where all these interconnections lead to.. What can we call the point of orgin, and what do we call the interconnection?
