haha grew up to max creek n goen to their concerts. lolz. nuthen like grown up around a bunch of hippies. still listen to this shyt every now n then helps me chill out n just get my aura bck in check.
Scott Murowski's son (Jordan Murowski) goes to my school and we hang together sometimes. He was not born yet at this concert but he got to go to almost all the concerts with his dad since 1990.
Still playing after all these years. Yeah, the Agora, etc. Creek will be playing with Furthur and a bunch of other good bands at the Nateva festival in Oxford, Maine fourth of July weekend.
We were all such good hippies back then!!! Remember sneaking in to see Creek at a Weslyen keg party when I was 15 and being blown away....after that it was on an on and on some more....Agora, Living Room, Woodbury, Camp Creek....great times and kickin' jams!!
Loved stumbling upon this. I've seen 100+ Creek shows in the late 80's early 90's but always LOVE listening to this bootleg in particular...stunned there's a video to boot! Any more from this show or around the 89-91 timeframe? If so, please post! Cheers!!
Definitely a trip coming across this video. The sound opens a wave of memory, the kids shakin' that ass.... I can't begin to count the nights we spent at the Agora Ballroom, Mad Murphy's, every fucking Wednesday walk on the wild side at Lopo's Heartbreak Hotel for years, all these kids from Farmington, Simsbury, Canton, West Hartford, Winsted, Glastonbury.... What a tribe we had, bustin' a move night in and night out and the boys giving us all that no bull shit rock and roll. Good times!
I just received an email for Saturday's (06/20/2009) Infinity's Music Hall show. They have a link to this show/song. 1987!! A fantastic year for the Creek! I miss this place too!
Oh man, can anyone post more old creek? I love their sound from the early 80's. My absolute fav is from U.N.H May '84. You got to hear that show. Back then is "seemed" they had different (and in my opinion better) musical synergy energy as evident in this video. 84-UNH was also great set list. If I can find my old tape maybe I can post the audio.
Nice! Rider was my 7th grade music teacher. It was a trip seein him in my highschool days and later at the agora/west hartford ballroom and here on the hill! Too bad I didn't see any cameras or I would have hammed it up! hahah! Love the Creek!
That was quite a tasty band.

Remembered a show in Hyannis back in the day...the dead played jones beach a couple weeks before. That summer made me. To this day I can die happy.

Cool tune. I have an early L.A. recordings LP where the Byrds did this tune. But this version has more groove to it.

Hi Joe. I just wanted to say that I think 1987 was the Creek's best sounding year. Good day!
