it is sadly not working on my htc rhyme. i have done it before on accident and still cannot figure out how to do it. do i hold the power button down first ? or the home button first ?

@marissa7878 It does work for the HTC Rhyme. Hold down the on/off button and tap the home button at the same time to take a screenshot.

@itsxSEAANx as for the myTouch 4G Slide on T-Mobile, the native screenshot feature is not present. However, you can download and install (on ur PC) the Android SDK and Java SDK, set it all up, and take screenshots that way. Try Googling it and you'll see instructions pop up

@jonexish Its not an app. Its a built in feature. HOWEVER there is an app on the Android Market called "No Root Screenshot It' which you have to set up via PC, SDK and HTC Sync but it works.

@manazma No, I recently tried this and you cannot. Even with YouTube or Netflix. However you can take a screenshot with apps running or games your playing. Try it out.

@ut2k4mastr If the Desire HD is running Android 2.3.4 then yes it can. I believe it's only at 2.2 (Froyo) so it cannot use this function. However, if you are rooted you can for sure. If you Google 'how to take a screenshot with HTC Desire HD" you should find a way through SDK. Hope this helped
