In Hawaii, do they still greet passengers with leis?

@towringer Thats a good question, some of the smaller airports like Maui and others still have 'greating centres' thats what my aunt told me. You can usually get a leis.

Mu DC8 experience is flying a charter out of JFK to Schiphol and back in the '70s. Wish I remember the name.

Dad took us there for a vacation in 74, UAL 747-100.

I love DC-8s. I live about a block away from Boeing Field and there's one that flies in and out of there all the time. It's gorgeous.

By all standards, the DC-8 was a great aircraft. Its 61 and 63 versions were world´s truly first jumbo jetliners.

Long body DC-8, gorgeous! I hope there are always some that remain airworthy. The old red,white and blue United livery was nice. Makes me wonder how the United scheme changed so drastically in later years.

btw, the video probably does violate some copyright, it's the Brady's, but don't sweat it, lol.
