i cant wait for the big one to finally wipe southern ca off the map, i hate that flippin place, over crowding and too many high paid people for doing nothing but being fake! God will bring judgement soon! amen! Allah akbar!
I remember this one. Most earthquakes haven't phased me at all but this was the closest I've ever been to an epicenter. Even though only 5.4, it was pretty scary.
AT THE TIME OF THAT EARTHQUAKE I WAS WORKING AT STAPLES AND ALL WE HAD WAS 2 THINGS FALL. BUT IT WAS A VERY GOOD JOLT CONCIDERING THAT I WAS IN BURBANK, CA
dam earthquakes scare the fuck outta me to the point were i cant even mention it, see it happinin, or wen im in the mall an i feel the ground shakin cuz of the cars and start havin a panic attack yet i still watch vids!
haha if i was by all that stuff and it flew off the shelves like that i'd cry! haha i live in indiana so ive never experienced an earthquake before in my life.
Paniced people would probably run and step on all those tubes of cream making even the cleared areas wet with slippery cream...one of those effect you wouldn't know to think about while preparing for emergencies.
this was the first earthquake to directly hit los angeles since the 6.7 northridge quake in 1994. there's gonna be a big earthquake in LA because there's barley any earthquakes here anymore.
@TheBassguy1 wasn't my fault! I'm no god or anything!! xD nuh i just was lucky i guess.. it was really cool to experience an earthquake! the water in the pool was going crazy and went over the edges and the sound of an earthquake is just wicked!
@BlueSkyProduction I kno its like, all around you, you try to turn in its direction and the sounds coming from the other direction. theyre loud too, i think the sound scares people more than the violence of the shaking. What kind was it? did it start out as a small rumble then just explode with a sharp jolt and just keep doin that?
@TheBassguy1 it just started to shake, i dont know how to explain to strong the shaking was.. you probably might know how a 5.6 earthquake is.. like a haunted house :D it just shaked to the left and to the right and then there was this very deep 5 seconds sound and that was it.. i looked up at the ceiling to check if there's anything that might fall on me
@BlueSkyProduction Lololol the roof wont cave in anywhere in the 5s. 6 is possible; 7 is a good chance; 8 is like Get the hell outa my way! and 9+ is like OH MY G---boom building falls on u. ive never been in a 5.6 exactly but i have been in a 5.5 so i think thats close enough to kno. the 5.5 rattled a little then exploded with a sharp jerk and kept jerking and like violently vibrating then it died down into a rolling/swaying motion then i couldnt tell if it was over...
@TheBassguy1 it was my first earthquake.. so... i checked if there's any danger, yknow? :D but it was kinda fun after all. the poolwater was all over the place and our dogs immediately jumped up on the couch to mommy. the day after my art teacher told us how she showered when it happened and her dog ran to her in the shower xD
@BlueSkyProduction Rofl we had a 4.8 just as i was getting in the shower one time. But my dog was outside and we dont have doggie doors so she ran to the corner of the backyard. And plus we had a 4.4 at 4am and my dog sleeps in my room and when it hit she RAN into the kitchen so fast. And she has really bad arthritis too! My mom said she was going pee and so did the lady down the street and the other lady down the other side too! rofl!
They need to just put microphones on security cameras now, adding music sometimes doesnt make sense, I think its best to have the real audio. That quake was really loud too
mypocketsizebff is childish everyone on youtube.now what mypocketsizebff what now hahahahahhahahhahhahahahhahahhahahahhaahahahahahhahahahhahahhahahhhahhahahhhahahhahahahh
@TheseYeahThese nahhh, im pretty sure that people would be running their asses off as far away from the epicenter. but, of course in the aftermath, then sure. steal all you want.
@2012newage First of all, what the hell are you talking about? If you're talking about the "stealing" conversation, then what the fuck are you talking about respect for? Second of all, I wasn't even talking to you, and you just randomly reply to my comment. Last but not least, fuck off.
@oscarscivier19 I think that too, the little ones must be iritating too the point of insanity. That was full to the top. Moral of the story DON'T hold dominoes championships in LA.
i was playing online video games in my room(i live five minutes from Chino Hills) and my friend who also lives in the same city as me kept screaming EARTHQUAKE!!!!! though his mic. i was so freaked out though XD
Five-pointers like this one happen pretty much yearly in southern California, not very exciting unless you work in a store or library. Northridge, however, was downright scary. That was a real earthquake.
Wow! I live in Chino and I was at home getting ready to run some errands. I'm so glad it happened while I was at home!!! What a disaster! So I went to run my errands afterwards to a few stores and they all had stuff thrown all over the floor with employees cleaning it up. I could only imagine what chaos erupted throughout the stores. At home, nothing fell off the shelves except one candle.
That made it look a lot stronger than it actually was. I was at Disneyland on the Mark Twain at the time when i felt it. When i came back, the 3-foot tall lego building which wobbles at the finger touch had no damage.
Now what does that say about the quality of these store shelves. lol.
