Thank you all for the Comments, this was a few years back, I was the American Colors, was a first time on the turn style, turned out good except like others have said the riflemen were a bit sloppy...
Haha, the rotating podium would probably freak me out. Is it weird that I did it once over 5 years ago and still remember the step counts and commands?
It is what it is...Good Job. MCRD Color Guard for all of 1991 at tail end of Desert Storm era ..>EVERYONE wanted Military Funeral or Color Guard. I had priveledge of performing over 790 funerals/ colors commitments-I have Cert Coms to prove it. Performed in the Passing of Colors when Depot Sgt Major Overstreet became Sgt Major of the MC, at (then) Jack Murphy Stadium countless times, Torrey Pines-Shearson Lehman open & Reagan's 81st birthday at Beverly Hilton. AWESOME DUTY....SEMPER FI.
Not bad...I could sit here and critique the crap out of the 4 man team. Only because I used to part of P4 back in 2000-2002 (Serwo right rifleman, Richardson color sergeant, Guajardo orgs, & Collver left rifleman). This team is definitely not a P4 team, at least I hope not. They were a little sloppy but they looked good. "G"
I want to point out a few things. I'm sure there are quite a few things you can point out, believe me I/we could too. This was a new lineup because 2 other members couldn't make it. I also know that certain things we did (the circling platform/entrance) are unauthorized as per MCO. Our spacing wasn't that great, but we did what we could.
omg..i do colour guard for my school. im in the usmc jrotc and i got the Organizational colors and honestly this was a beautiful thing the usmc is my life and i love to watch people present america by doing color guard one of the most fiercet things in the USMC
Not too bad. That was the best counter march I have seen (out side of our unit of course,USMC Color Guard 8th and I). I wasnt really impressed how you guys came together, that looked a little sloppy. I have actually been on your base to preform before in a BCD with the drill team and D&B Corps.
