To have more of God u have to put in that time, I know a lot of born again christains who can pray a healing or anything cause they lack the power... this song is not biblical. As christians we cannot have more of the power of the Holy spirit than we have now. the holy spirit is not POWER. He is a person and carries ALL the power of God and resides in every born again individual for all time to come. therefore all the power the christian needs already resides in him/her. it's up to christians to discover who they are in Christ and make use of this power(full power of God)

I think what arthurg13 is saying is that during the whole song the singer ( or the I in the song) only talks about what "He" as in himself will do in order to obey and fulfill God's will. So yes the song is some what self centered but it is not a selfish song its a song of dedication and its one that I particularly like.
