  • thats great stuff! I enjoyed seeing the footage you had of LALS because I've never seen that footage before.

  • any chance a new documentary in HD :)

  • @BlueRidgeRuckus Back then, the shooting was the easy part, the editing was the killer. I had to edit on a linear tape based system that took FOREVER to make each cut.

Today, the editing would be the easy part and the shooting would be the hard part. Non-Linear Editing makes it so easy. If I did do a follow up program, it would have to wait for the summer when I'm not teaching classes.

  • @KQ6WQ - yah i was wondering about the editing after seeing your post on TR.. i rem as a kid going to my uncles house.. he was a vietnam vet.. he loved trains.. he had a whole shed with trains.. everyone you could think of.. seeing your video brought back memories of those times before he passed away.. thank you sir

  • nice one Bob.. thanks for sharing.. i STILL like trains.. so does my 3yr old :)

  • @BlueRidgeRuckus Thanks. I still like trains too and have been a member of the Southern California Live Steamers for around 23 years.
