Wow, I knew that it was Ben Nevis when I saw the first pictures!! Thanks so much for this video. I ve been there last year and almost died until we finally reached the summit... ;-)
We should trade mountain ranges. You should come check out the Appalachians in general and Mount Mitchell in particular and I'll go check out Ben Nevis and the other two peaks. Regardless, you should see the Blue Ridge Parkway on clear days. You'd love it.
Talk about vast, my most overwhelming outdoor experience was backpacking in New Mexico and seeing uncolonized earth for 360 degrees, all the way to the horizon. The world's awfully big and it's a shame not to appreciate it.
@fixedG , what a fantastic idea, when you see the world as you have in New Mexico, it makes us feel so small, and see how lucky we are having such an amazing landscape! :-)
@TheWhisperingvoice Yeah they are, Wales and Scotland have the best scenery and countryside in Britain, sorry England lol and your welcome, been a fan for a while :)
Did you take all of these pictures? If you did, I have to say that you Sir, are an incredibly good photographer. The United Kingdom is an amazing country that continues to amaze me everyday with those astonishing landscapes... I want to go to college in the UK and your pics make me love it even more!
@xX2301Xx , Many Thanks, yes I did take the pictures, it is a fantastic landscape, I loved it there. I hope you do get to come to College here, and enjoy every minute of it. Good Luck, and thanks again :-)
I am speechless having just watched the end of this video, this is the most beautiful, powerful most uplifting music. Bagpipes are one of the greatest instruments ever. God bless you my friend.
I am so excited to see this video. I live in the US and was just in Scotland from Aug 19-29, including in the Highlands. I was with several bagpipers, including my grandfather, and only wish I could have gone up a mountain too! It was so beautiful, I'm still thinking about my trip constantly.
sixhoursbehind.tumblr.com <-I put up a few pics there :)
@kailfc4ever , I have done a whisper in Welsh, and tried other languages but not to good at it..LoL......there is a whisperer who does readings from the bible and is very good too, "Whispering Scriptures".. Many Thanks :-)
nice vid wv yes scotland is a lot like where we live in n/wales its great that u talk about north wales to let people around the world know about it and did you know andy whitfield from spartacus blood and sand is from n/wales too
i love scotland i went there 1nce about a year ago it was so beautiful in the highlands and this just made me remember it all thankyou oh and this is your 100th vid yea!!!!
The music at the end was beautiful. I always associated bagpipes with loud screeching but that was really nice. Great whisper too, glad you enjoyed yourself!
@WhisperBloke , I thought "Amazing grace" was fitting for the scenery and of course the bagpipes are the instrument of Scotland! Many Thanks for listening, I am glad you liked it :-)
Thank you so much for sharing your life with us. You were my first whisper and are still my favorite. I share your love for nature and long walks. I've been mulling over the idea of making some of my own videos - what program do you use for recording? Can't wait to hear your whisper again!

@TheWhisperingvoice Hello again! HaleyTheHero here (on my new channel). As you requested - I am letting you know that I have finally uploaded my first whisper! It would be greatly appreciate if you would have a listen and let me know what you think. My wish is that you are able to enjoy mine as much as I do yours. Thanks! :P
I was at Fort William on my honeymoon seventeen years ago and saw Ben Nevis at its base. Truly sublime! Thank you for sharing all that natural beauty.
so beautiful. even tho it's peak is still lower than most valleys are in switzerland, it is still exciting to see that there are somewhat proper mountains not too far away :) and the nature is stunning. thanks for this!
WV, they aren't anywhere near as high as my "backyard" mountains, but I've been there and they certainly rival in beauty. What I love most is the green! Not to mention the great scotch ale after! Congratulations on completing your quest!
Breathtaking scenery. That must be a one big church. Great acoustics. :) Do you have a piano or organ at home? I'd love to hear more of your playing in the future. There's something about an organ I find mesmerizing (reed OR electric, it doesn't even matter).

Superb. Glad the trip went well really does make you realise what a beautiful world we live in. Nice organ playing aswell mixed with the bag pipes makes for a moving end. Top work again :)
you said that were fragile as a human race, but I think were not fragile as a RACE since no hurricane or regular volcano can kill the human race.....oh and nice whisper as always :D
cockroach is the most durable and probably oldest specie to exist =)
Thank you SO much for sharing your excursions. Your videos pull me from my daily, sometimes mundane routine, and expose me to beauty I knew nothing about...and may never experience (maybe one day!). And your thoughts on the environment reminder me of all that lies beyond the city lights and noises around me. While I'm at it, let me add your gentleness and kindness come through like a shining star - thank you.
Glad to hear you had a great trip! Scotland is definitely on the list of places to go for me the next time i visit europe. I was curious as to what camera you use for thes photos, they turned out fantastic. I'm looking to buy a new camera, and I would love to get the same quality as your shots.
Beutiful scenary... Btw the sound of the church organ is so strong and convincing any mistake that was made was quickly forgotten as the sound was so incredible... Please don't ever stop making videos.
@Rabbid2213 , Thank you so much, I had never played that organ before, plus the pipes were a good distance from the Organ console too! Many Thanks for listening -)
Some of those pictures were absolutely incredible. May I ask what camera you were using as photography is a new found hobby of mine and I need a good camera! Thanks :)
Heh, I have a recording on my comp of someone playing amazing grace with bag pipes. It doesn't sound too much different then your folks in this vid!
And you're making me crave escaping my own country. I'm probably going to be saving some of my student loans to visit all 3 countries of the U.K. Heck when I graduate it'd be nice if there's a movie studio over there I could work for.
@Taraka1 , Yes I'm sure Pinewood Studios London would employ you, hehe, you probably right about the bagpipes sounding the same, as they have CD's of there playing too! Many Thanks :-)
I thought I was watching some great movie montage there! That was brilliantly done whisperingvoice, very atmospherical. There are some similarities there to here in New Zealand which you would absolutely adore if you ever have the chance.
@SamMcChesney , I have heard a lot about New Zealand, it sounds a magical place too, I am glad you liked the video. Many Thanks for your time in listening to it :-)
yet again another awesome video, and you play the organ which i found rather perculiar and amazing lol thank you so much for this whispering voice and i will be gently nodding off to sleep before my daily training routine. kudos for climbing big ben nev, it looks very beautiful up there sleep well friend and thank you from all the whisperingvoice subscribers for your hard work ;-p
what is the walk like? is it hard because i've jogged up scarfell pike and it was so easy, i done it in 3 hours up and down when it is suggested to take 7 hours in the guides. I'm thinking about doing the 3 peaks challenge soon just to see if i can manage it. thanks
@lurchermad8 , I was speaking to a chap in Scotland who just done the three peaks, he was glad he did it, but he said....never again! To much distance.....I think they were driving and walking between them! I found it ok to do, it does get slightly harder towards the summit, mainly due to the air getting thinner, and the path conservation methods they use, large rocks etc. But I would recommend doing it if you like walking mountains! Well done in Scarfell Pike too! :-)
The picture at 9:24 is quite beautifull and the video too. Love how you played the organ! My grand grandfather was organist =D so.. well... don't know why I say you that. Anyways, relaxing as ever. You are so lucky being there, I wish I could go in such beautifull place and marvel at this beautifull chaos wich is nature. Wonderfull really! Many thanks!
I envy you so for going to Scotland and climbing the mountain! I'd love too, but I'm going to have to wait a few years so I have money and can improve my fitness.
Also, very impressive on the organ, considering that it's only a hobby!
wow!!! those mountains are magnificent, and so is your organ playing!!! its so great to hear you're back safe and sound and that you had a good time in scotland, some of those reflections in the water of the mountains looked like they were out of another world!!! thank you so much for sharing this with us all ^_^
Splendid video, sounds like you had a fun trip which is excellent! Wonderful pictures, thanks for sharing. Hope all is well and you're enjoying yourself.
you are probably still my favorite whisperer! Scotland is lovely, haven't been there myself, but I've seen many pictures :D when is your next relaxation video coming? :)

what is the walk like? is it hard because i've jogged up scarfell pike and it was so easy, i done it in 3 hours up and down when it is suggested to take 7 hours in the guides. I'm thinking about doing the 3 peaks challenge soon just to see if i can manage it. thanks
lurchermad8 1 year ago

I find the sound of bagpipes very relaxing!
I envy you so for going to Scotland and climbing the mountain! I'd love too, but I'm going to have to wait a few years so I have money and can improve my fitness.
Also, very impressive on the organ, considering that it's only a hobby!
