@zapzapboom If your referring to e pnuemotorax then no you need a different kind of treatment for that.

you must stop the airflow in and out of the chest cavity first.

Thanks for the complement on the realism of the wound. We actually used SKEDCO's FEBSS simulation system for the training video along with special effects makeup.

@sammedical It's quite convincing, I wasn't sure if this was an actual wound or not. I assumed there must be a trick to it as the video proceeds at a leisurely pace, but it's very realistic. The capability of the gauze to transform to a gelatin is also very fascinating, as well as looking rather soothing.

No, its not a real human leg, its a pig leg covered with camo pants. The military did the same thing when the tested QUICKCLOT.
