In face, yes it is, speaking about when it is cut, because it is also your lifeline, literally, when it is cut, you die. Enter into Google "silver cord bible" and click the FIRST link, it has all the various versions of the Bible on that specific verse about the Silver Cord. The "Golden Bowl" refers to the head of the Spirit Body, etc.

Unfortunately, the whole movie is 144 minutes long, and would require a load of time and space to upload, not to mention the copyright infringements! This short clip doesn't seem to matter it seems.

I believe it's the soul, which actually appears like a ball of light, traveling up the "Silver Cord" which according to Scripture, each of us has and is directly connected to God Himself (See the King James Version of Ecclesiastes 12:5-7 and Psalm 2:3).

Therefore, the "tunnel of light" seen is the inside of the Silver Cord as our Soul travels up throught it back to the Lord, which Ecclesiastes 12:5-7 does seem to indicate. My father had a NDE and described seeing his body from above, etc.

I was hearing about this monk that was aware of this silver cord also when he meditates. I will check this out in the Bible to see if I can find it. Thank you.

Darn I wish they would, but I would probably run into trouble over copyright! Nobody seems to mind a short clip of films being used, as it usually helps to promote a film. Music use is the same, it allows artists to get to places thay have never been heard.

I might consider using Google though, for an extended version of this particular film, or maybe another clip here. YT will not allow any more than 10 minutes now, even with a director's account :(
