@firepoliceambulance Thats what im sayin man!!! what a fire truck without a Q.... so may trucks on here with out them!!! it is the sound of a fire truck
I've actually responded once with a crash-truck to a child in cardiac arrest (electrocution) because:
1) We were in the area already after clearing from a MVA-PI
2) I am a firefighter-paramedic
3) the ALS (Advanced Life Support) ambulance was still 15 minutes out.
I was able to start an IV, administer drugs and defibrillate the patient back into a semi-normal sinus rhythm before the ambulance arrived. It may seem like folly, there is often method behind the "madness".
Not all departments call them Quints, my dept has a quint, but has used its pump for fires twice. Used it's aerial for fires...Everytime it is called for a fire.
What are you getting all bent out of shape over Buff? Just because the rig has an ariel device does not make a truck company or a quint! Hell it probably doesnt even carry a full set of ground ladders. Perhaps the company needed some ariel support on defensive drown attacks? Its really not all that uncommon you know.
why did you title the video as an engine.. when its a quint
