  • the bassist is steve huff,i stand corrected but this is Great stuff...thanks for this post..man memories

  • GIVE THE BASS PLAYER SOME! He's classic-gospel-Pop Staples good!

  • I LOVE the Tommies! One of my favorite Gospel choirs of all time! Only Wilmington Chester and Mississippi Mass and anything Bennie Cummings, James Cleveland, and Rev. Charles Nicks could touch make my spirit as glad as this choir! Gospel music NEVER gets the credit it deserve, being the TRUE talent in the music industry.

  • To James Micheal Tolbert of Lake Alfred, and Gladys Renee Stewart! You say" You GOT THIS"? GOD'S REALLY GOT IT! That's why I'm safe!

  • I am a former member of the Thompson singers during the hit years. Late 1980's through the early 90's. Had the chance to travel the country with the Late Rev. Milton Brunson. What a wonderful man he was and had a hugh heart for the youth. This early recording from the mid-70's, was just the start of us winning our one and only Grammy in 1994 for best traditional gospel choir. We still come together from time to time as the Reunion choir. I am actually the guy in the middle with curls.

  • Brunson Pride!!!!!
