This is a great video and you cannot begin to image how much we appreciate it. I have two children one of which is on the higher functioning end of the sprectrum. My boss and I started a Run/Walk for Autism in February called teh Polar Bear Run/Walk for Autism. Our first year we had 530 particiapntsa and the second was this past year during a snow storm we doubled that number. Our hope this year is to make it an even bigger event. I have Asperger Syndrome and a slight form of ADHD myself (27 years old now), I got the results out just before x-mas 2009. So I know what it is to have autism. There is so much more available now for these children than when my son was diagnosed at 4 years old. Back then, it was 1 in 10,000 -- now it is 1 in 150! Keep pushing for research and answers. He is six now and it still feels like my world is falling apart sometimes. My daughter is still undiagnosed, yet her doctor did say she has autism along with whatever syndrome she has. This song brought tears to my eyes. I am trying to open a facility for those with special needs. It's a struggle but we are not giving up. I am still trying to find someone to sing an original theme song for all children with special needs using the company name. thank you for this beautiful song and video. I am not a person easily moved to tears, but since I had my kiddos 9especially my oldest with autism) my sensitivity to moving pieces has burst through with everythign I do.
