GREAT video thanks!! I got a question you may think is stupid. I have an outside heating/air unit and when the air is on, the fan on top spins clockwise. When the heating is on, does it spin counter clockwise?
@007bondjb No, I work on natural gas pipelines, Im not ashamed to tell you Im scared of power lines, you cant see it, smell it or hear it and it will kill you, screw that. My job is working on regulators that break down the pressure from the Transmission Lines around 800-400psig that feed Distribution Regs that break it down again to around 15 to 60psig . The house reg will break it down to a 1/4 pound around 7''wc.
I have some good buddies I work with JB, you would have made a great partner.
Very interesting looks like you have worked and managed alot of really big jobs. Oh and that waste water filter who would have thought you could turn sewage into water safe to drink with out it going through a huge water plant facility
Those are some bad ass systems! Never really think about where they're located until you're suddenly watching a giant 75 foot crane straining a gut hauling it out. Probably takes some real creativity with some of them, where they've built everything up around them since they went in.
Replaced my home system about 10 years ago, with a Trane, and we rolled the outside unit around the house on a hand truck. Different order of magnitude. LOL
@anmoose Yeah the operator had to bypass the cranes computer system to boom down enough to reach the unit. Not the 1st time we had to watch the outriggers opposite the load to make sure they didn't start lifting off the ground.
Fantastic, JB. That was a unique video among the millions out there. It shows people getting things done!
There are all kinds of (ignorant) people who think pushing paperwork across their desks all their lives, takes all the brains in the world. I totally disagree with that attitude.
@strigilives An AC condensing unit pumps freon to the indoor evaporator coil. This type of system is used for small applications.
On larger buildings Chillers make 45 deg "Chilled Water" It is pumped throughout the building to multiple air handling units. We also use either hot water, steam of electric heat strips to maintain the desired temperature of each area
Thanks JB. Since you are a UNION guy and an employer, I would like to know what JB thinks about these people protesting wall street and the banks. Shouldnt they be looking for a job? What does JB think ? Time for an economy rant !!

when you say 20 tonne, is that actual weight of the whole item? i dont know NOTHIN about air conditioners BOY, we dont need em over here, never gets warm enough haha
you said most of that work was from the 90's and couldnt remember when, well i spotted a calender on the wall that said 1994, maybe that was it boy!! also at the end i noticed that the reme+ got all the particles and mold and so on, it must be the best way to go?
@007bondjb I'm talking about AC units. We replaced ours a couple of years ago from a 2.5 ton to a 3 ton and it was half the size and wasted less energy....tc, O
