What is wrong with the sad barstards on here keep saying M power for life and AMG is crap or the other way around. There both good cars.

The BMW E46 M3, E92 M3 & E39 M5.
The Mercedes C32 AMG, C55 AMG, CLK55 AMG.
The Audi S4, RS4, S3, S6.
Are all bloody good fast coupe/saloon's. They all suit different driving types but for 99% of the population you just pick whatever one you like the look of the most.

@predatorninja lol well bmw lost so still better?? m3 and m5 are overrated. Older generation still goes for more than amg and amg outperforms it for less money. Gas mileage is horrible on m cars since high output smaller engine and doesnt last as long. Its not a coincidence that Mercedes created first car in world and its still around now. Look up 65 AMG motor and how they use that in new Zonda R then come tell me about better bmw engines.

@zaroulx lol the fact is though CLK won and is cheaper than E46 M3 to buy. CLK 55 probably compares to E39 m5 more than M3. E46 m3 should be compared to c55 or c32 amg.
@zaroulx First off M3 is almost 500 lbs lighter curb weight and second BMW went for smaller higher output engine Benz opted for larger V8. V8 is less strain on engine, last longer and on kickdown got more balls. If benz had individual throttle bodies it would pull close to 500 hp lol hail M power my ass!!
