Can you tell me what year the commercial aired? Because here in Mexico is when you switch to United Adventure Six Flags Mexico in 2000.What year was spent? Because my older sister who is in Chicago, she went to Six Flags is in chicago.

o wow i remember this commercial this was was the commercial they used to show back in 1999 and i think 2000 when i was like 8 or 9 years old im almost 18 now but wow things go fast i remember the one they use to show in my hometown philadelphia they should bring this commercial back because it gives u the desire to go not the new 2003-2009 ones i also feel bad for new orleans though they should open the park back up down there

The ride was neither built nor painted when they filmed this. Jester was still installed as Joker's Jinx at SFFT.

BTW it wasn't called Joker's Jinx, That was a different ride somewhere else. It was Called Jokers Revenge. I loved that ride! I miss it, i wish they would put it back at Festa.

One boy was flung and then killed by the coaster because:

1. He thoughtlessly entered a RESTRICTED RIDE AREA. They're marked with signs and guarded with fences. You can't enter them for a reason.

2. He reached up and touched a train moving at 50+mph. It carried him along with it, and he suffered the consequences.

There was only ONE person who's been killed by a Batman clone. My thoughts go out to his family, but he wasn't being smart.

lol this was shot b4 Katrina. They havnt fixed the city yet, do you actually think they just opened a Six Flags there? The park used to be called Jazzland but it went bankrupt so Six Flags bought the park and took over operations. 2 bad it was long b4 Katrina hit, now Batman the Ride is in Texas operating as a new ride this year. So it really doesnt look like its gonna open back up anytime soon. Truley a sad story

You find it in poor taste for a park to have water rides? Well, most amusement parks have water rides that get you wet and lots of parks are still installing water rides. Hurricane Katriana has nothing to do with water rides. If you don't like water rides, then just don't go on them.

The name of this song is called "A Thrill That's New and So Alive Will Soon Arrive" and I have a file of this song on my computer. This ad was aired in 2003 but the song and the graphics in the ad are a lot older, I'd say around 1995 or so. A similar ad was aired whenever Geauga Lake was converted into Six Flags Ohio. Whoever said that the Mr. Six commercials were better, well I think there awesome but this commercial is a classic in my opinion. I like how they used the CGI in this.

Six Flags Great Adventure, and Magic Mountain are the top two SF's in the chain..though, I think SFGA is at the top(its also my home park)...Because not like many other SF's. GA has some nice theming...also, SFMM was up for sale in 06...so...I dont no whats going on..

Six flags decided not to sell up SFMM, They would have made soo much money beacuse of the land, but they decided it was 2 valuble to sell, it is there best park!
