ALRIGHT! ive had this game for N64 since i was like 4 or 5..and i couldnt get passed wind and all that stuff till i was like 10 but...im 18 now and i still have this game and im still stuck in the SAME place!!witch is on that Elevator for "escape from souls" something like that...i cant access that G 1 elevator someone PLEEEEEASE HELP!!!!! i get the key and stand on the elevator and it doesnt do anything!!

My problem with this game was just the wind level. I spent so many lives trying to get through it, and fighting Fujin was the worst. I also didn't like that you don't get your healing items back after you die, I thought that was just stupid. I'm sure the PS1 version's better, but I couldn't play any more after I beat the wind stage. Maybe I'll try again someday.

I love MK. But this game it drove me nuts when I was like 16 and and still does.

To be honest, I think the game itself is ruined by the horrible gameplay making it completely inaccessible.

For example: not being able to switch sides while you're pressing other buttons, is really bad. And then, those weird unnatural thing going on such as the thing at the middle of the first level where you have to tap jump once if not you die just doesn't make sense.

it has full movie cinematics and the graphics are almost as good as the n64 version

Well yea the sub-zero with the scar on his eye is sub-zeros brother..in mk1 scorpion kills Sub-zero during the tournament and after the older sub-zero's soul decended in netherrealm he became the ninja wraith Noob-saibot aka Noob forgeting everything he knew about his former past in the process.Dunno how but he steadly regains his memories during the next mortal kombat games and his future is clouded in mk armaghedon as he Noob joins bodies with his former self Sub-Zero becoming something more.

Hey did you ever played Ultimate Mortal Kombat Trilogy it is a hacked rom of ultimate mortal kombat 3 for the sega genesis it has 57 characters which is alot of Mortal Kombat Fighters to choose it is a great game you should check it out.
