amazing video but several things are weird. The warp zone... using 2 whistles from level 1 would take you to 5,6,7. Also when in the toad house getting the whistle, you have to wait till he finishes talking to be even able to move. Unless the foreign version is different.

He is playing on an emulator. Which is just PC software that lets you play older games. You can slow the game play down through the emulator options, and then he just made the video to normal speed. This is all a guess though, i just think it's either that or this guy recorded this like 40 thousand times.

Yes this is either PC or emulator because the jump should give it away as something other than the original 8-bit NES console. The jump in the 8-bit cartridge is not as powerful as the one shown in this video. Another thing to look at is how close the player will get to villians and fire. Normal 8-bit play is not that gracious and forgiving. I'm not trying to take anything away from this talented individual, I'm just very aware of the physics of Mario 3.

With whistles, it is possible. It only takes a minute or two to get the whistles. Yeah if you watch him doing the first level, after he jump off a flying koopa, he randomly flys like he had full speed in a raccoon suit.
