@batsharp I know that lots of Americans waste a lot of food, but not only them. I find most Europeans do the same thing. I'm not really informed about how things are in other continents, but don't blame it all on America. Regardless of that I doubt that not carving pumpkins is the way to solve the problems starving people face. For example, it would be much better if we stopped eating meat (or at least eat less) so we wouldn't have to feed our food the food others need to live from.
