  • I dare to say that this version is the best "Suicide" version I've ever heard! Mr. Bell stoles the whole show! Deeply unappreciated.

  • Thin Lizzy deserve so much more views than this! They were one of the best rock bands ever formed. Phil Lynott was a genius in many ways and will be deeply missed by so many. Thin Lizzy never made a bad song! The band shall forever rock on!! :D R.I.P Phill.

  • I didn't know that this existed. I feel silly about that, considering how much I love this band. This has quite a different feel than the twin guitar studio version, but I think I like it equally as well. That's because this is just a good song. No matter how you look at it, this is a very good song. Rest in peace Phil. I miss your music.

  • I love the album version so much. But this one is awesome. Totally different feel to it. Thin Lizzy was a totally different band in the Eric days. anything Thin Lizzy did was great

  • They never were blues band and Eric era was the best (for me anyways..)

  • I prefer them as a rock band than a blues band.

  • i got the record its from the Hippodrome Golden green in London

  • Eric Bell is horribly under-appreciated. His slide work on this is incendiary.

These guys kicked ass in ANY configuration.

  • @Kirok I think a lot of fans forget how good both Bell and Snowy White were. Just listen to the gutiar work on 'The Rocker' for Bell and 'Birds of Paradise' by Snowy

  • wow amazing

  • Wow, excellent!

  • Brilliant - my brother's got the whole set on cassette. I always thought the released version wasn't as good as this. Have you heard My baby's gone and left me (slow blues) -they changed it for the Vagabonds album and it's nowhere near as good as the BBC one - Eric Bell does an AMAZING solo on it.

  • Yep. It is a good one. I have this whole set, as well as the one they did on the BBC in '74 with the four-piece lineup.

  • @blacksabfan

According to the wikipedia pages, on Oct 10, 2010 they're re-releasing the first three albums as remastered and with extra tracks. The Vagabonds re-release apparently has this live set on it, plus Peel sessions. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet.......

  • thin lizzy must be the most underrated band of all time..from the first to the last studio album all were fucking brilliant...R.I.P Phil

  • Well ya learn somthing new....

  • great great great...

  • Toll!!

  • That is incredible. Once again, THANX for posting.

  • WHO ARE YOU?!?! WHERE DO YOU GET THESE PRICELESS GEMS?

Forgive me for shouting, but ... DAMN!

I can't BELIEVE you found these!
