Fantastic woman, very good singer in her simple and authentic way, Monica Z is really perfect in Waltz for Debby, and very very good in Corcovado with Bill E.

For me this piece is a surprise: never had heard Bill playing Jobim, that is my preferite composer. Great video...its a pity I dont understand swedish language.

A kiss to Monica and a hug to the great Bill. Perhaps in the "other" world they are still together playing or singing great music.

.... the rest on my channel is an eclectic mix of all different styles of music. The only common denominator is that it is all extremely good and well performed, except for very few exceptional pieces which might have landed there for different reasons all together.

If you do not approve of it that is totally acceptable to me. If you take the time and listen to it maybe your ears and your soul will discover something new.

It's an interview. I doubt they had the music playing during the interview. She probably had no control over when her words would be played over the music.

Blame the editor who merged the interview with the music video rather than Monica.

Monica to comment. The trouble is, she often offers her comments during trio´s playing! I don´t expect tv-people to understand

I´m glad we agree. I also realised that it may

not be so obvious if one(perhaps)doesn´t understand swedish or is not aware that Monica

was at the time of the interview confined to the wheelchair and tv-crew had to come to her house to interview her and get her reaction

to the performances. At any rate I want to add

that I love the record Monica made w. Bill and consider their version of "Waltz for Debby" absolutely superior to any other vocal versions of that tune. Peace,V.

The film was made as an interview with clips of music in it, not the other way around, by Tom Alandh. As she comments on small things in her singing, its obvious she could hear her songs. You only need really good microphones to do that. The film is purchaseable at svt. se.
