@ZiniNkenaki I read in the forums somehow a guy did get an copy from skyrim(he showed us some gameplay,we had to download it from torrents.And he said that (HUGE FUCKING SPOILER) in the end dovakhiin is actually alduin
@robchip1 He was Akatosh until Skyrim. until Oblivion cyrodiil was covered in a thick jungle, culturally a blend of china and Byzantinium and the Imperial City was about as large as Solstheim. It's called a retcon.
@WhimsicalQuandary The size is more likely just condensation. The whole of Tamriel is only about as big as a large city in the actual games but as far as the lore is concerned its several magnitudes larger. Making Alduin into a seperate character is also far cleaner than the "ooh a wizard did it" Cyrodiil got and actually gets discussed a bit in the game rather than the handwave about Cyrodiil.
The guy was almost certainly lying. He can't have got a copy of the game as it has not gone gold yet. Do you have a link to the forum post where he claimed this?

Alduin is Akatosh. Although it is possible that the PC might be a avatar of Alduin/Akatosh it is unlikely.
