I don't know you but I would bet all that I have that you started to read the bible because your Life was messed up and confused and you were looking for answers and a way forward. I have been believing the bible for 14 years and obeying it. And I can say infadically that by obedience to it, it has radically changed my mind, body, marriage, parenthood, world view, understanding of love and life. Of course, hypocrisy snuffs out truth. When people do not study nor follow scripture, you will find chaos. I politely challenge anyone to study the scriptures with me and do what it says for 1 week. And I dare you to not be radically changed for the better!

I can say that I had been lazy in me "faith", cause I wouldnt look for myself, I was so quick to just accept whatever my pastor told me was correct. I claimed the Bible to be the ONLY truth, and when I finally picked the book up for myself, I eventually saw a jelous god that was committed to ethinic cleansing and sexism. The funny part was that Ray Hagins says "Dont take my word for it". So I set out to find sources OUTSIDE of the bible that could PROVE Jesus was real and DISCREDIT Brother Ray..... I couldn't find ANYTHING. I mean be honest with yourself, have you ever looked ouside of the scriptures for Jesus? Have you ever wondered to yourself, what did slaves or anyone for that matter believe BEFORE Jesus? The world been here for years, and the Jesus STORY, is relatively new.

I just felt moved to share with you that I felt the same way when I first set eyes on a Ray Hagins video.... I caught a chill going up my spin, because I saw this man, in what looked like a poolpit, but he was advocating against the bible. I was convincing myself "he must be a fullfillment of some anti-christ prophecy from revelations". Took me a REALLY long time to do my OWN research and see that this man was NOT lying. That he was not only enlightened, but genuinely CARES.
