Something like these happened to me when i was at Walgreen a few months back. I was waiting to get some pictures developed, and some Asian employee kept following me throughout the store. I felt so awkward being followed around a store almost just left without the pictures. Its so dam wrong that shit like this happens

One store followed me around like I'm going to take something. Took them multiple visits to realize I always pay for my items, and would never take anything! It is commonly known black people commit the bulk of the crime. I used to work loss prevention at a major chain store and we were directed to profile certain people....for good reason. More often than not we'd catch these people red handed. It's not racist to follow statistics. Car insurance companies do it all the time by the area u live, ur credit worthiness, age, gender, etc.

I think it would be fascinating if they did something like this in different cities around the U.S. and maybe even the world. I would love to see the reactions in, say Jacksonville, LA, DC, and even Chicago. They could even do something like this in other countries...I understand there's a similar problem with Indians and Muslims in London (I may be wrong on that, though). In the animal kingdom, certain organisms have different attributes (ie: a snakes pattern of color) that warn other organisms that they are dangerous. Black people commit the vast majority of crimes and we understand they are more prone to commit crimes (as the snakes with certain patterns of colors are recognized as dangerous in the animal kingdom). I've had the same problem but because I was a teen doing grocery shopping, not because I was black (I'm pasty white, lol). I was supposed to do she groceries and call my mom to come pay and pick me up after. Well its not racist to conduct this type of racial profiling! Its based on actual loss of merchandise by "those" people... If you lose your merchandise and can directly trace losses to a certain type of profile visiting the store then I can't fault you for trying to prevent the loss by monitoring that group more closely. The woman was however, rather exaggerating her actions and taking it to this extent was wrong and hurtful. Customers are customers, there is no profit in being racist!!

I think it would be fascinating if they did something like this in different cities around the U.S. and maybe even the world. I would love to see the reactions in, say Jacksonville, LA, DC, and even Chicago. They could even do something like this in other countries...I understand there's a similar problem with Indians and Muslims in London (I may be wrong on that, though). I've had the same problem but because I was a teen doing grocery shopping, not because I was black (I'm pasty white, lol). I was supposed to do she groceries and call my mom to come pay and pick me up after. I had some guard following me around from the moment I stepped in, even though I was piling my stuff ON TOP of by purse. Well its not racist to conduct this type of racial profiling! Its based on actual loss of merchandise by "those" people... If you lose your merchandise and can directly trace losses to a certain type of profile visiting the store then I can't fault you for trying to prevent the loss by monitoring that group more closely. The woman was however, rather exaggerating her actions and taking it to this extent was wrong and hurtful. Customers are customers, there is no profit in being racist!!
