  • A glorious performance indeed, of one of my favorite concertos, where all flows naturally, Yuri Boukoff understanding Tchaikovsky's brilliant writing and bringing it off with balletic grace & color. The orchestra brings its own slavic color & warmth, I love the horns! When I first heard this recording,(on LP), I was about seventeen, and there were hardly any others. It sounds just as good today as it did to me then. Lovely to hear it again.

    The St Petersburg tour is gorgeous too!
