  • omg Kelvington you FUCKING NAILED IT! THAT WAS AWESOME! Funny and cool as fucking hell!

  • Wait, I just saw the Side-by-side comparison. I get it, but the the Fasarius shot still dosen't work. The actual work you did was primo!

  • The music actually fits well with the ST opening. However, instead of the K-7 Space crash edit, I would have shown clips of Enterprise dealing with a near collision with a space phenomenom of some kind. I'm sure theres one somewhere in the 'remasters'. Or use even an aproaching energy blast sped up to appear like a flash of 'time-travel' warpage. Also, why did You show Balok's ship closing in at the end? Just my opinion. Otherwise, you really did great.

  • Not bad! Not bad AT ALL!!!! I LIKE IT!!! GREAT JOB!

  • I will watch this before I face a challenge.

  • That Was Oh My God That Was GREAT WOW, MORE MORE clapping!!!!!!

  • This was great - good job at capturing the spirit of the two series

  • Clever!

  • That's really well done!

  • Oh, man, this was funny, I was laughing my butt off. Good job!

  • Great and double great!!!

  • Yeah liked that

  • Loved it. Did you ever think about doing one based on the season 2 1999 theme?

  • Thanks, and yup, it was in the works, and we lost one of our main drives, and I just never got back around to recreating it, maybe after this last episode of Trek Through Time is done I'll go back to it.

  • Very well done ! I agree with previous posters that they should have done an updated intro, such as this, in the later seasons of the show. The single character shots of the actors with their names was a particularly well thought out presentation.

  • Thanks, I try hard to make very exacting parodies of things. It's tough to get things just right, and I appreciate it when people notice it.

  • Notice the plane sent to intercept the Enterprise? It was called the F-104 Starfighter. Appropriate,no?

  • brilliant except for the crap pod cast shit at the end. still in my fav though

  • WOndeful - great blend of both

  • I would have just used existing explosions (use clips from "Errand of Mercy").

  • That was fantastic! Star Trek should have had this kind of opening sequence:D

  • GREAT

  • Fantatsic work mate, really good!

  • great video

  • To laugh at this video was not logical, but I did it anyway, because I was just old enough to start watching "Space: 1999" when it first came on, on New York's Channel 9, and if memory serves me correctly it was at 5:00 on Saturdays, right before the original "Star Trek" aired at 6:00 on Channel 11. This combo was... Fascinating!

  • Excellent!! Very well done....

  • That was terrific! Two of my favorite sci fi shows ever - connected brilliantly.

  • Agreed; always been a fan of Star Trek, and same with Space 1999! God, I've rarely even THOUGHT about Space 1999 in the longest time! "John, it could save him, or it could kill him." VERY nice job on this, Kelvington! (Oh, I MUST watch that show again, somehow!)

  • I agree, excellent job on the video. FYI-You can watch every episode of both series for free at:

    SurfTheChannel(.)com

Warning (Will Robinson)! Space 1999 doesn't hold up very well, even if you ignore the way the moon went to warp speed and then slowed down for an hour every Saturday evening.

  • Well Done... Laugh my ass off...

  • Loved it,Loved it,Loved it!!And you used my favorite star trek episode.

  • I am a big Trek and 1999 Fan that was great, job well done!

  • Exquisite!

  • It should be a Shuttle craft.

  • Actually I updated it with the proper font and changed it to a shuttle craft a month or so ago. Check out Star Trek 1969 Now With Futura!

  • Wow.....

    That's all I can say!

  • That was really incredibly cool- not just the music mashup but the way the title ties to the episode you chose- well done!

  • Fantastic credits. Job well done!!

  • Star Trek Space 1969-that was clever but shouldn't it be title Star Trek Space 2269 or something ?

  • Since the episode takes place in 1969, I set the video in 1969. I've updated the video to use the proper Futura font, it's on my page.

  • Exactly, lol.

  • Brilliant! I am a fan of both shows! You edited this really well!!

  • AWESOME!!!!!

  • Very clever. As a fan of both Star Trek: TOS (especially the remastered version) and Space: 1999, I'm amazed at your technical ability and editing skills.

  • muy bueno, soy fanatico de las dos series, space 1999 y star trek.

  • have you ever got together with mates and thrown yourselves around a room crashing into furniture pretending your're on a very wobbly Enterprise?- no?, just me? (nevermind)

  • Nice job!

  • One of the best ever!!!!!!!!!

  • Hey...thanks for the reply, Kelvington. I look forward to seeing your new work. Best wishes!

  • Just great! Well done! Please do one for either Lost In Space or Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.

  • That's a good idea... and oddly Lost in Space is on it's way! I'll look into the Voyage one.

  • Ok some more good ideas how about for all the other star trek shows/ original Battlestar galatica and buck rogers (use the vampire episode). Good job Kelvington!!!!!!!!

  • bravo bravo its excellent.

  • Very interesting

  • Good job, make more.

  • Well, that's Five Stars except for the podcast ad....

  • That´s an FANTASTIC combination from two classic TV-SciFi-Series.

    GREAT!!!

  • Nice work!

  • Apart from the typography (Futura was originally used), this was fab! Great editing job.

  • Hilarious! Very hard to do a good mash-up, though I gotta agree with proximajoe, the font would have improved things greatly. Keep up the great work!

  • Have you done a "Space: 1999" opening with the "Star Trek" theme music?

  • Mash-ups, the final frontier.

This one has to be one of the few that actually improves on the original.

    It's... the best!

  • Very well done!

  • that theme tune is a classic

  • nice one.

  • Simply...Most Excellent!!!

  • me again , i missed out the word great , oops !

  • This video is , even thou im 19 , ive grown up with these shows since age 4 , along with many other Gerry Anderson and Gene Roddenbury shows , even thou im a loyal DOCTOR WHO fan since age 4 , this combination is brilliant , thou the bits at the end of the video shouldint really be there at all , im going to show my dad when he gets home , including a couple of mates !

  • Wrong font, the correct font is Futura. You car really tell in the "a". The K-7 station ruined it, made it look like a joke. (which is probably what you meant to do). A for effort, D on accuracy.

  • This is pure genius.

  • LoL!!!! GREAT!!!!

  • That was great!

  • OMG, that was a scream. Thanks for warping my brain with this man! Only thing is instead of Space Station K-7 crashing into the Enterprise, it should have been a spinning shuttlecraft (or a Space 1999 Eagle) to make it perfect. :D

  • 15 out of 10! Excellent! Loved it!

  • I can so relate to this. Excellently done!

  • love loved did I say loved IT!!!!!!

  • Nicely done. Perfect combination of the two shows.

  • HAHAHAHA lol Prefect !!!

  • Brilliant, Kelvington, as usual. A lot of fun, and a great mash-up of two great sci-fi series.
