  • Lol. Did Daigo just troll him for obviously trying to be deceptive about who he was going to pick in the second match?

  • Why is World Warrior Guile considered God Tier?

  • Man, that Salim got PAWNED! Daigo is an SF God and if this Salim guy is suppose to be a good SF player, well based from this match, he got made out to look like a newb.

  • @lionheartSONIC21 watch this american O.G perfect Daigo many of times. Jeff Schaeffer vs Daigo

  • If Daigo is that bored, he should've picked Guile and did that move that freezes Guile standing on one foot.

  • @HachiZenki

You can't use World Warrior glitches on Hyper SF2 AE moron.

Even if that's possible, I doubt it would be allowed in a tourney since it would be considered too much of a cheat since the other player regardless of any amount of skill or whatever cannot do anything about it.

  • This Salim really needs to develop a better play style. He looks pretty desperate in these fights.

  • Deejay beating Guile ... It's a dream come true

  • now why would anyone pick the WW guile..?

  • @yourleftnut1

Beats me. I don't know why I do too.

  • That french guy just sucks that much more for choosing WW Guile and losing.

  • @MorganFreeman11 u should see jeff shaeffers ww guile vs daigo....he makes guile look stupid borken its in my favs

  • Omg a spectator said to Daigo at 0:58 : " oh il triche il triche " ... It means " oh! he cheats " ...Damn noob spectator.

  • daigo's like god to you huh

  • haha fucking french suck at videogames

  • Beats for Salim!!

  • french is noob

  • wow fantastic

  • Sounds like he was double tapping everything.

  • The "Piano" technique.

  • Indeed. A sure fire method for making sure you're as precise as possible.

  • Not exactly.

  • Wow, Daigo really does try and attend every event, doesn't he?

  • probably but seriusly i like watching his matches because hes really talented and always shows you great ways to use chars like Dee Jay and so forth

  • Lol @ 0:58 "Hey il triche, il triche !" = "He cheats !"

  • No ! he counter picks :P

  • Does anyone have any clue what the hell Dee Jay is sayin' when he throws his projectile?

  • Max out

  • max out

  • @Nadrojsleek i think he shouts whiplash

  • @Nadrojsleek: Japanese (Slash), U.S. (Max Out).

  • @Nadrojsleek yes, "been nigger sucks" in his language

  • Wow, first time I've seen Daigo use DJ!

  • can I ask whats so good about that particular guile?

  • V.Good Priority on all his moves.

Ken/Ryu can't hurricane over his sonic boom. Blanka cant slide under it either.

    C.Medium kick has V.Good priority.

Uppercut is too good and its very hard to punish him if he whiffs the somersault kick. He has loads of simple combos that daze opponents

He can also re-dizzy opponents with LPs

  • @r1c1976

But some Americans who got to know this game still think CE Guile is the best, only because they saw their godfather Tomo Ohira do well in it in those days (they must be in their 40s by now hahaha). It's total rubbish when WW is way superior.

But you have to let these people lie to themselves. It's a psychological thing.

  • @RAEN74 Its the most broken version of guile

  • thats the thing with Daigo Balrog...once hes on top of you...SOO MUCH PRESSURE!!!

  • Them Frenchies need to get better at fighting games.

  • We do. We sadly do.

  • LOLOLOLOL!!

  • @windos95 At video games, that is. Cause they suck. :3

  • @windos95 It's funny, you say french people need to get better at fighting games and I bet that guy would kill you

  • that daigo guy is good with so many street fighter charcters! the hell wrong with him??

  • a good player can use any character with a fair amount of skill. if you can use them, you can better understand how to beat them.

most players however choose to stick to one or two characters because those are characters they happen to like.

  • @musicgetto

Poongko lost to Justin, so forget it.

  • tommorow i will get street fighter hd =D

  • cool. welcome to like 3 months ago =)

  • haaha

  • yeah when peeps are already planning to by sf4 by the end of next week

  • i got both fool HAHAHAHA

  • aahgahhahah ur still late fucktard

  • wtf...i bought sf4 february 12...

  • What is with the options in the character selection? The one with Super, Champion, etc?

  • it allows you to pick various versions of a charcter. eg world warrior, champion, hyper, super and super turbo. there are also some hidden versions like super dash and super cancel

  • which game is this???

  • Hyper street fighter II: Anniversary Edition

  • not street fighter hd?

  • Comment removed

  • Well he also plays Ryu and in SF3 Ken so i don't think it's a race thing more of a best character thing.

  • hahahaha, nice comment.

  • Nique sa reum, trop bon le cem Daigo... trop refo...

  • Everybody loves Daigo?

  • yes he captures the crowd's heart even when he loses...he is just fun to watch.! he is my favorite!

  • SF 4 is missing DJ

  • and T. Hawk.

  • This Daigo guy is way too good.

  • Yeah! Balrog! Daigo should earn credit!

  • That's the first time I've ever seen Daigo use Deejay.

  • Terrible Zangief.

  • or maybe just a REALLY great Balrog.

  • just curious which sf game is this?

  • Hyper Street Fighter 2: Anniversary Edition

  • the commentator has a cool voice...reminds me of that voice in the CAPCOM beat-em-up Alien vs. Predator.

  • And Daigo's Dee Jay did an excellent combo at 2:42. Too bad the mechanics limited his second kick or he would have concluded the match earlier.

  • I sure love it when I see Daigo use Balrog. But the strange thing is, why have his opponents under such circumstances never chosen Ryu or Ken?

It would have been a very nice to see his Balrog smash Ryu or Ken, if he is really up to it.

  • i hate char matchers. just pick your dude and play. pansies.

  • I know right? Just let your opponent pick a character that has a advantage over yours and give him and much better chance of winning.

Picking your character is a strategy as much as playing with them, its a game of rock paper scissors in a way. You wouldn't pick paper to fight scissors now would you?

  • actually picking one character and learning them 100% would make "character matches" a lot more winnable.

    ______________________________________

in this case the scissors blades were either dull or the paper was actually a sheet of steel

  • LOL can't fight that theory

  • spamming specials is soo fun.. holyshit..

  • Heh, the irony of those two matches.

  • why is ww guile so cheap?

  • throw someone look at how much damage you do.

  • chain combos to dizzy, magic throws and handcuffs.

  • damn right, ps2 pad ftw, that's all i play on :) I suck on arcade sticks lol, i've been playing with pad since i was 5, and will always do so, so more props to those who do well with them!

  • you should try learning sticks its actually better just hard to pull of fast specials thats all

  • yeah i like sticks but for some reason like the ps2 pad

  • yea same here ill use ps2 pads for shotos but for charging characters ill use stick

  • yup it's hard to do a shoryuken on a stick on the 2p (cuz it's backhanded) but on a ps2 pad i can do it both ways and easily

  • i play on a pad too, i wouldn't know where i would get a stick from :s , it works very good most of the time, however, moves that need motions toward the opponent are much easier than moves away from the oponent when standing left, that's why I sometimes screw up super like shoryreppa when standing right

  • but the problem if your good at a pad is when you go to the arcades you don't know how to play= = thats what happened to me so then i bought a HORI PRO

  • that's none of a problem for me, I don't have arcades where I live (Europe, Belguim) :p

all I can do is play arcade mode, none of my friends can play good or are not interested in 2D fighting games :( , luckily ST: HD Remix will go online :)

I would like to play on a stick, I think I'll buy one when I have a PS3, u know any good sticks for PS3?

  • They have good sticks for the computer via usb, I want to try and buy one and get used to playing with a stick. As for the PS3 I don't know if Capcom or any third party will design any, 2d fighters won't be that popular on this console generation.

  • do you know where i can get a good joystick for the ps2??? cause mines suck

  • I got mine from a company called MAS Systems.. you can google it for their website.

It's call the Super-Pro Stick. That's where I got mine and it is just awesome.

  • i know what you mean. I was at evo north, and i played st like a newb for 2 days trying to get used to the stick. But I was doing much better latter, and even beat someone that beat nki.

  • Thats whats up, but you need that stick to keep your control game up. ZhangHe, i am a huge noob at this game, I was wondering how do you get on the tournament scence for games like sf3 and cvs2?

  • Go there. they don't discriminate. Qualifiers are open to anyone willing to go. go to evo's web site for more info. Aside from that, be open to many suggestions, practice a lot, and dont give up.

  • if i was salim i wouldnt want my name on this vid lol

  • Daigo is a beast. I never seen him play with DJ. He is hands down the best 2d fighting gamer I ever seen. Great match.

  • they call him "god of 2D fighting"

  • Well I can say Daigo is an all around Player =D All I see him is using Ryu Balrog (M.Bison) or Sagat but It's good to see him playing with other characters =D

  • he play a pretty good zangief and ken

  • first time I saw Daigo play DJ

  • why is daigo playing some french scrub? what a waste of his talents

  • At the french nationals they paid Daigo to come and play casuals with the top 3 players from CvS2, ST and 3S. He got raped in CvS2 by Yamazaki93, made a joke of Billy Kane (3S player) by beating him on a PS2 pad. And this shows he destroys them at ST>

  • there was a video of him playing Yamazaki93 but i think he won that one....and i had no idea he used a pad to be BK....from the video of him playing billykane it sounds as if he was using stick....unless those were in casuals

  • damn but it also seems like Daigo would do anything for money lol....he knew that shit was gonna be free...whats the date for these matches??

  • Daigo barely won against Yamazaki93 in the match that I saw.

  • huh? what match were u watching on yamazaki93 vs daigo? i never saw daigo get "raped" by yamazaki. daigo won the match. yamazaki started with blanka vs daigo with sagat. daigo won , then yama came back and beat sagat with cammy, then daigo beat his cammy with guile, then yama beat guile with his sagat, and daigo finished yama's sagat with ken. so i honestly dunno what match you're talkin about. i agree with hardgayramen4ever lol.

  • Yeah, looks like he waited for Diago to pick first. That's pretty low. But he lost anyway.

  • haha yeh loser.

  • winner picks first in tournament play usually

  • what? winner usually just has to stick to the same char, not pick first. never heard of this shit before at any tournament.

  • obviously this only applys to tournaments where the winner is allowed to choose a new character. you are right that most tournaments the winner is forced to stay the same char, but the rest are winner picks first.

  • what a bitch for using ww guile

  • indeed!
