  • did the guy @ 0:41 make the truck?

  • @NVA003 No, he said to go ahead without him.

  • Its funny how it looks like the only action that has happened in the school is a firetruck comin

  • Nice vid, going to my Seagrave play list.

  • dude your videos are the coolest thing ive seen there is nothing else like this on the internet soo COOLL !!!

  • that would suck to live in that house right in front of the station for noise.. but you be so much safer!lol

  • SO True.lol

  • hahaha how about waking up to the fresh sound of federal Q in the mornin!

  • i figure these guys prolly arent gonna be dicks all the time to those people in the house. but the middle of the night wake ups would suck

  • Hes saying 2194 not 2149

  • wish i could here this rig without the siren. 8v71s are historical engines.

  • Wow !!! that Detroit Diesel is loud , I love the sound of that 8V71. Great ride along video .

  • With the siren off, then this fire engine would sound like an MCI MC-9 coach.

  • The powertrain is a Detroit Diesel 8V-71 and Allison HT-740D. Correct?

  • why are people goin in the opposite direction pullin over?

  • They are supposed to. I don't have a license and I know that. You never know where the fire truck is going to go, so you pull over. I hope you don't have your license-asking that question.

  • everyone should know that you have to pull over

  • It's a Q, it's just weak.

  • I think the person under the blanket is either DEAD or Injured

  • may i ask what type of ladder truck is it and how old it is

  • 1979 Seagrave Rear Admiral. According to their web site, it had since been sold.

  • Bad siren, otherwise good video.

  • weirdo that is a fedral Q thats the phattest siren ever!!!!

  • Sounds to me that the siren needs either new cables or a better ground. It sounds like it gets half power, then goes suddenly up to full. Beautiful truck, though--Seagrave W-cab Rear Admiral. ;>)

  • its neither my fire dept does the same thing with our fire rescue truck up in CT.

  • We had a 1978 Seagrave P-cab pump that had that same problem, where if you stood on the Q pedal, it would go up to perhaps tenor range, stay there for a few seconds, then go up to maybe mezzo-soprano range, stay there for a few seconds, then finally go up to full blast. This truck does the same thing around 2:50. After we replaced the cables leading from the pedals to the siren, the Q would go right up to upper-soprano range with no problem.

  • do you sing as well as play with a Q, just curious.

  • you gotta have a playlist going for example we got, Burnin down the house, ring of fire, i didnt start the fire, the fireman by george strait and the other by lil wayne

  • i like listening to the radio to see whats going on on the scene, and what units we got going enroute.

  • lmao yea... Love the seriousness in his voice!

  • And the seriousness of the Detroit Diesel 8V-71 engine!

  • Cool video. Yea who is that person laying under that blanket!
