  • Nan needed Tony and Courtney to help vamp it up...someone got greedy - not saying it was the musicians and bad advice from record promoters and managers - the original band vamped and had a sense of humor - and that's what made it so fun! When it was Nan fronting a bunch of unknowns it was just sad - she looked like she missed her friends to me.....

  • @JourneyHome To each his/her own. I liked both versions of the band (wish I had a video recorder in the really early days at J&Ps). For different reasons, sure, but I liked 'em both (or all the versions for that matter). I do see your point , the early band was a 'show' band for sure.

  • Joe Pop's - best bar band I ever saw - had a big crush on Nan, get in line - all original material - I really thought they might make the jump. I interviewed Chris one afternoon pre-show for my college paper, but never wrote the story.

  • Saw this band alot at Joe Pop's Shore Bar on Long Beach Island NJ they where great.

  • Yes Nan was a sweetheart. Never met her in the boys room sorry to say.

  • I saw them a few times. They were always great. Thanx for these posts. I saw them at the Bijou Cafe on New Years Eve once and met Nan in the ladies room. She was very nice, by the way. I really miss them. What a live performance. Their records didn't do them justice compared to their live shows.

  • Awesome Post!
