  • when i have to use the quadratic formula?

  • great video!

I've been watching all of your videos and it's a great way to review (refresh my memory).

    cheers.

  • making these videos has actually been a great way for me to review the material as well, and in the process learn many of the intricate details that I missed on the first few passes.

I can honestly say, teaching is one of the most difficult and challenging things I've ever done, which means that it's also one of this things that i have learned the most from.

    peace :)

  • @chychochycho 2 questions, wheres part 3 and do you have any word problem videos also, if not please make some :)

  • I hope you found the next video, they are numbered sequentially.

As for word problems, I just have some in Series I for proofs. Once I get a little more of the basics done I'll start doing some word problems as well.

  • @chychochycho dang, i have alot of difficulties on word problems, any tips on how to get good at it?

  • Think of word problems as translation of math symbols into English. For example, "is" means "=", "less" means subtract (-), "more" means "+", etc ... I've had a few people ask me about word problems and I think at some point I'll try and put together a couple of videos to deal with it. Not sure when though.

I use to hate them as well but I think after doing so many I just got use to the translation. Keep in mind some world problems are well written and easy to translate while others aren't.
