actually, clean renewable energy, such as wind farms, are cheaper to build, cheaper to run, and need just as many people to run them. this is not an employment issue, its a political thing.

The point is that we're powerless to create economy-wide change. You want a job? transport kills the planet. Eat food? Livestock, agriculture et. al kills the planet. I could go on, but the point is: humans=destruction. So unless you think suicide is an option we all have to work within the system to convince the bastards at the top to change things.
